[Hello Fleet! One of your members is currently taking up a lot less space than usual; Kramm wakes up with a tiny squeak of a yawn, Atroma having so sweetly turned the feed to catch this little winged lizard, roughly cat-sized, lift his head and sniff the air. He's black, eyes little specks of blue, the full draconic image with wings and a tail - if quite a bit smaller. He wanders over to the device, sniffing it, then pounces and starts gnawing at the corner. Fearsome piece of plastic and glowy screen! The device catches images of his little white teeth, forked tongue, and a blur of flapping wings as he growls playfully with his new toy.]

Vaquish

[For anyone on the Vanquish, you will find a tiny trouble wandering underfoot or flying above head, winding his way though piping he would never ever in any stretch of imagination be able to fit in normally.]

[Did he trip you? Steal your donut? Or maybe he's grabbed a thing you were working on and is now playing a game of Keep-A-Way!]

[This little guy is awfully persuasive, huh...] I guess I could leave your owner a note or something... [Shinji doesn't want to get in trouble for "abducting" someone's precious pet, after all.]

Oh, hold on. Do you know which ship you're on right now?

[Owner what owner? He's not aware of an owner. But he does know the ship!]

Vanquish! Best ship!

[...!] Oh, that's Kaworu-kun's ship. I know that ship. [Which makes Shinji a lot less hesitant about heading over there. It wouldn't be like he's barging into totally unknown territory; he wouldn't feel the need to apologize for his presence.

But he sighs to himself, burying his fingers in his hair.]

So I could come find you, and then we could go the... the Iskaulit, after that. Should be enough space to run around in. As long as you don't dig up the greenhouse, I don't think anybody's gonna mind.

[Kramm nods his head enthusiastically. No digging up the greenhouse, got it! He can behave! Shinji gets a mental image of Kramm sitting very obediantly next to a pretty flower.]

[That mental image is worth a dry puff of laughter.]

Yeah, you've made your point. Okay, so... wait for me over by the shuttles, and I'll come and pick you up. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

[krammbunctious]

[Laughter! That's good! He looks supremely pleased of himself. That is, the moment before he turns and disappears with a flick of his tail as he heads off towards the shuttles. He'll be fluttering around the hangar bay in anticipation.]

[Shinji has made the jaunt to the Vanquish hundreds of times before now, so he doesn't have any problems showing up as promised. He's even carrying a plastic container with him, filled with yummy treats. Little dragon-things might have a taste for bacon, or maybe they'd prefer fruit... Shinji tried to select a variety of foods, just in case.

Yep. That really is a dragon-like creature flying all over the place.]

Hey there, [he says, emerging from the shuttle.] Are you ready to head out?

[He hangs in the air for a moment, then swoops down and perches on Shinji's shoulder, stretching his head down and sniffing at the box. Treats? Bacon?]
