[When Thor woke up this morning to a trashed room and a communicator blinking stubbornly with unread messages, it took him a few moments to really ... parse it all. The lingering grogginess didn't help matters - and where that came from, he has no idea. Looking at the date on his communicator only further complicated things.

So it's with a definite air of confused irritation that he opens this feed. He has all the grace of someone who took a bad nap.]

All right. Three questions - how long have I been out, who destroyed my room, and why are we parked in the middle of a garbage heap?

[He did take some time to look out the window. It's not a good view.]

[Is he serious? Who knows. There's Death on this Fleet after all. Maybe there a Chaos, too.]

[He has a pretty good idea who the culprit was. It's just the least important question of the three, really.]

Robots? Don't think so. I've never seen one in here at least. Though I suppose there might have been one in the past month that I don't know about.

[And Thor sounds mightily annoyed by it, though he gets past it quickly enough.]

You're new, right? [It's not posed as a question, more of a confirmation.] Otherwise you would have heard of that kind of thing happening in the Fleet.

Sounds like someone hit you with a heavy spell.

[He's got a sleep spell himself, but not one that can last for a month. That's practically a coma. A nasty one, too.]

And right you are - very new. Hail and well met, my dude. The name's Taako, resident chef on the First Breath. And you are?

It would have to be to take me down. The Atroma's methods are a mystery when it comes to these things.

The First Breath, hm? [He's pretty familiar.] It's good to meet you as well, Taako. I'm Thor, security on Blue Fish.

[Oh my god the names of these ships and the name of this guy. Thor? So on the money.]

....Any relation to a certain Trickster God I call captain?

Yeah, he's my brother. I assumed you had already met him, if you're on his ship.

[Petty as the circumstances were when he took the role, Loki does seem to take his captaincy seriously as far as Thor's seen.]

Bingo, my man.

[So not just two, but three gods are stuck in this place. Thor, Loki and Death. How many others are hanging around, just keeping a lower profile?]

I'm doing some upgrades to the ship's decor in exchange for a god's favor. So pretty soon? Our ship is gonna be dope as hell.

[This is either a terrible mix or a great one, Thor thinks to himself.]

Oh, he'll love that. He's already been working on that sort of thing. Have you tried touching that magic wall he put in?

[Or both. Probably both, Thor.]

The magic color changing thing? Yeah, that's pretty cool. Like a holographic headtrip. Haven't touched it yet though. I'm not the one in my party in charge of touching random things.

[uuuuuusually.]

[Thor just shrugs. If Taako stays on that ship, he'll end up touching it eventually.]

Give it a try sometime. Though I don't know if this planet is the best place for finding new fittings.

[Probably. Especially now that a hot guy said to do it. He'll have to try it out ASAP.]

No, stud, I'm going to make them.

Did I forget to mention that I'm a wizard? Because I'm a pretty freaking awesome wizard.

A wizard? No, you didn't say. All I heard was 'chef'.

[Which is more important in some ways, to his mind.]

Well, that's the important bit here. Not much adventuring and wizarding to be done when there's no treasure or quests to be had, right?

I would not be so quick to assume there's no treasure about. I found some a couple of planets ago.

[If one can consider a giant axe to be treasure.]

[WELL THEN. Taako's interest is instantly piqued.]

Weeeeell then. The next time you think you're going to embark on a quest, think of Taako, hm? I'm quite the skilled adventurer.

[Unfortunately, when things 'come up' for Thor he tends to just hare off immediately to do them, rather than call for backup. He does make the attempt when he remembers to, though.]

What kind of adventures have you been on, then?

The sort that pays well, so far. Solved a murder mystery on a train, got caught in a time bubble that trapped us in a never-ending cycle of death, found a time chalice, stopped the world from turning into one giant crystal, soooort of found a fire gauntlet that blew the shit out of a town that now no one remembers existed.

Lots of stuff.

[Thor tips his head to the side, taking all that in. There's a lot there that only makes passing sense but it certainly sounds worthy enough. Any weapon that can demolish a town would qualify as an important quest.]

So... did the time chalice fix the time bubble?

[Look, the two seem to go together, he's guessing.]

Nah, us taking the chalice did. I think?

[He was a little preoccupied with the whole not dying from giant purple worm and it wasn't all that long ago either. What a freaking headtrip.]

Whatever it was though, as soon as the chalice was outta there, time sped back up to normal and we became freakin' heroes of that place.

I haven't heard of a time cycle like that before, though I have been places where time does not move nearly as fast as the rest of the universe.

[A few seconds on Sakaar equated to much longer anywhere else. It had been a minor concern until he got out of the place.]

Yeah, Refuge was stuck in a time loop of a single day for...a long time. They had to play catch-up, so the bubble kept them contained until they made it back to the present.

[He shrugs because it makes sense and doesn't make sense at the same time. He's learned not to question what weird shit the Relics can do at this point.]
