[When Thor woke up this morning to a trashed room and a communicator blinking stubbornly with unread messages, it took him a few moments to really ... parse it all. The lingering grogginess didn't help matters - and where that came from, he has no idea. Looking at the date on his communicator only further complicated things.

So it's with a definite air of confused irritation that he opens this feed. He has all the grace of someone who took a bad nap.]

All right. Three questions - how long have I been out, who destroyed my room, and why are we parked in the middle of a garbage heap?

Not all, no. There are parts of this planet that are free of the debris. There's a lovely lake around here, from what I've been told.

Sakaar was the place I escaped from before being taken by the Fleet. It holds some very aggravating memories.

Then I'll hope alongside of you it's the last. But as awful as this place might seem, there's some upsides to it. Apparently, with all of this junk they have, there's quite a bit of equipment. And they have people who can install it. For a price, of course. But I was thinking... we need shields. And anything we can do to up our firepower would be a benefit. [And there's the implied positive that none of this will come from Atroma.]

[It captures Thor's interest immediately. The lack of shields on the ship was a problem he was always aware of. The Fleet's primitive ships aside, it was just standard practice to have shielding on space-going vessels. It shouldn't be contingent on a person being on board.]

Is that so? Then we ought to pursue it for the shields first. The lack of them bothers me more than the firepower, though that's also below what I would hope for in a ship.

I agree. Either that or someone switches their augment to engineer. But I'd rather get our own than rely on Atroma.

[She'd rather have the ship protected and just fly them out of danger than actively engage in combat. These ships aren't built for that in the least. She knows that from firsthand experience.]

I would agree. The Atroma are not reliable in a crisis.
