[ loki is no stranger to space ships. though the kind of ships asgard uses are quite different in nature, he's read enough to be familiar with the make and feel of this one. he quietly turns on the recording device, squinting at it. very primitive but it'll have to do. he straightens himself, as befitting a prince, quiet and somber despite the nervousness. ]

[ a pause as loki thinks of what else to add before pulling out a large knife he stole from the kitchens. ]

[ his brow furrows, but loki keeps his voice quiet and polite. somber for a child. ]

[ loki pulls it up onto his device, frowning. he can't see anything recognizable. or perhaps he's not far enough on his studies. his father would be disappointed. for a brief moment, sorrow and panic flickers on his expression before he pushes it aside. ]

[A part of him wonders what happened to Loki- how he started out this way but ended up how he is now. He also wonders how much of it is an act, much like he does himself. Putting on a show for himself and those around him- but he doesn't question it, and he SURE as hell isn't going to bring it up when Loki's back to normal.]

[ loki takes his device, inputting the signal in. ]

And when I press this, he'll come?

[ he sounds unsure. they're brothers after all. they've ditched each other before, albeit not in such extraordinary circumstances. ]

If you talk into it, you'll reach him. Can't see why he wouldn't. He doesn't seem to be an arsehole.

[But then, those two ARE Gods, a type of being well known for arsehole tendencies. ]
