Who: Armitage Hux and anyone
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Onboard Bishop or the trash planet
When: During the drift
Voice A:
[Hux made sure to speak in a calm clear voice. It was clear that he was used to delivering speeches or messages. It was the first time he made such a post to the network aside from responding to other people's posts. He kept everything short and to the point not wanting to dwell on things.]
For those unaware, my name is Armitage Hux. Since my arrival to the fleet I have been collecting various scraps of metal and other various materials that could be salvaged. I am willing to make a trade in exchange for other items with anyone should you be interested.
I did have a few questions to ask in regards to the fleet itself. How independent are our ships? Has anyone managed to find a way to break off from the main control? I would also be interested in knowing what changes have been done and what I may be able to do to help.
Scrap Heap B:
[Hux can be found digging through looking to salvage what he could. He wasn't one to pass up supplies, but with the recent projects he was picking up, he needed more. He found that he was pretty excited to see a lot of the pieces he did manage to find. Most of the stuff appeared to not need a lot of work. All they needed were to be cleaned and a fresh coat of paint. Hux also hoped to bargain with people as well for credits or other supplies. Feel free to approach him and inquire.]
The Arena C:
[Hux decided to give the arena a try. He looked to fighting man verses man along with man verses monster. He wanted a challenge and to see how far he could push himself. He didn't want his skills to go rusty. Here he didn't have to worry about any repercussions save for the hits he took in. Yet, he also wasn't about to die here.
Feel free to join him in a fight or place a bet? He doesn't look like someone who could withstand such a fight, but looks can be deceiving.]

voice;
[Just some food for thought, honestly. Then again she's all about seeing what other people might want in order to trade and benefit her 'people'.]
I can answer your question, too. From what I know is that while the ships rely on the crews to operate them, they aren't independent in the sense that we could just take one and run off. They get pulled back if we go too far. It's why a lot of times we're left drifting when we go between planets. the Marsiva is what anchors us all together.

[Hux tilted his head slightly as he thought about what he was told, despite the fact that it is a voiced conversation only.]
So you're saying nothing's been done to try to adjust to allowing more freedom of the ship?

[They were the entertainment, that's all.]

...You have family here?
[Hux said with a pause. He was a little skeptical about what a family really was. He only had his father as an example which wasn't much and the military as his family.]

[It left her with mixed feelings, though. While it did feel like they were stuck here she couldn't deny how happy she was Glenn was alive and had a second chance after what Negan had done to him.]
My husband came here a few months ago and other friends from home have been here with me for a while. Sometimes it just happens that way? The Atroma aren't terribly picky about who they choose to kidnap for their game show, I've learned.

Do you prefer having your family here or would rather they be home? Is it safer?
B
Need some help?
[He had a small case in his hand with some parts he had picked up as well. He wasn't an engineer, but he was good at memorizing visuals, so he'd been able to find some things that Ulaz and Pidge had shown him for their project.]

[Hux called back once he saw that it was Keith. He was trying to dig out this panel that had a few wires attached to it. It seemed like something he could salvage.]
I wasn't aware that you were building stuff too.
[He said in acknowledgement to the items in hand.]
no subject
Yeah. Well, not me, exactly. Pidge and Ulaz are working on a new arm for Shiro. They needed some help finding parts, so I'm doing that.
[It was the main thing he could contribute.]

[Hux thoughtfully responded. He was thankful for the extra hand because they were able to pull out the panel.]
no subject
Well, we have these. [He picked up one of the parts that he needed the most of. They were small... all of them were, really.] I need about three more. [He didn't know what it did or what they needed it for, but he knew what it looked like and had a basic idea of how much it should cost.] I figured to grab some extras just in case some don't work.

[Hux stated as he examined the pieces that Keith showed him.]
Having extra is always the best way to go especially with what we're giving to work with.... I have to say it's not something I'm used to doing, having to scavenge around for pieces for my projects. I'm starting to get better at it, but it takes a lot of my time and energy that I wish I could use to putting those projects together.
no subject
Yeah, I'm not really used to it, either. There's only been a few times where we've had to gather stuff like that, and that was mainly because it's hard to find parts for a ten thousand year old castle ship thing. But, for the most part, it did have the ability to generate some stuff on its own.
Thanks, though. I appreciate the help.
C!
She'd look down at him with what probably came across as some small measure of either surprise or concern once she was close enough to see she'd be joining him in the arena, trying to piece together his reasons for being here as she gave her own armor one last quick check.]
You do not strike me as one who seeks battle. Am I mistaken, or are you here to settle a debt of some sort?
no subject
[Hux retorted with out even bothering to look up to see who it was. He recognized Looma's heavy footsteps before she turned to speak to him. He was annoyed with the fact that the people leading these matches felt it was necessary he needed help.]
I haven't been on the battle field for along time. This doesn't mean I can't fight and don't desire to. I'll show these idiots out that there I'm not helpless as they think I'm in.
no subject
[She's like 95% certain Hux is an adult, he's free to make his own decisions and deal with any consequences by himself. She was expecting a solo match herself, so being partnered up with anyone- let alone Hux- was not something she'd expected
or wanted. Still, she can respect him wanting to keep his skills sharp, it's half the reason she signed up for this sort of thing at every opportunity. The other half being that she really, really liked hitting things.]
But if you do die here, know that the first thing I will do when you return will be to send you back to the infirmary for embarrassing me.
[And really, that warning's delivered so casually, so matter-of-factly that it might just be difficult to tell if she's joking...]

[He narrowed his eyes as he moved to study their opponent that had just stepped into the arena.]
The only way to ensure a win is to work together at this point. Bickering and fighting against each other will not get us anywhere.
no subject
[She really wasn't. At least not quickly, as Hux would soon discover. Perhaps if it ever turned into a battle of attrition, with the winner determined only by the energy to keep standing, she might come out on top. But none of them had that kind of time.]

[Hux shrugged and made way to strike their opponent with his blaster.]
