03 - Video [OPEN]

Who: Freya Vaughn & YOU!
Broadcast: YES
Action: If you want to swing by the engine room or her room on the Heron, go for it.
When: November 5th

[The screen flicks on and Freya has her boots pressed against the wall with her torso resting against the floor. It's hard to tell which direction gravity is flowing except that her hair spanned around her head in a golden halo.

She's wearing her little red ridding hood costume though only the bright red hood was really visible.]

Remember, remember, the fifth of November.
The gun powder treason and plot.

[She sings the song in a sweet voice that makes it come off as a creepy ring-around-the-rosy type of deal. Freya can't keep the monotone tune up for long before breaking into a warm smile, her light stormy gray eyes glittering as if a sun was peaking out from behind the clouds.]

Couldn't resist that. ANYWAY, I'm calling out because I'm going to go ahead and start a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I have been making dice but they currently suck! So if anyone has dice let me know or I'm going to just program a random number generator and make people use that. [It's super easy to do with any computer.] So, I'm thinking of ways to make the campaign more interesting to those who are here, so if you're interested but it sounds boring, hit me up anyway. We'll talk.

Who knows, might be fun.

The idea is to have fun. If you aren't going to have fun then- [She waves a hand.] Well, ignore this.

Anywho, that's part 1. Part 2 is about candy. I will eat anything that's left that isn't chocolate. I miss sweet things and I can eat a lot. So if anyone has any, that isn't chocolate, then let me know. I'll take it off your hands.

Also if anyone has pepperoni. It's not a totally random question but related to another conversation.

I think that's all I got right now.

]She flashes the screen a happy smile, flashing her canines in the process.]

Later Drifters.

[He subtly diverted his gaze while she was getting redressed. He wasn't scandalized, but it was the decent thing to do]

Oh, I assure you, dear, you might be misreading the situation. I have known Biffy for many years and I can assure you - and I would stake my second best evening jacket on it - that Biffy is one of the kindest people to have walked on the planet, to human, animal, werewolf, and vampire. The professor is himself rather unassuming; I would hardly call him terrifying.

Now, firstly, I have explained about soul. Werewolves are not born; they are made. Progeny are never an option when the supernatural set are involved.

[Well... he's not going to go into nitpicky stuff that will only confuse the situation]

Also, for some reason we have not yet figured out, women are less likely to survive the bite, but if they do, they are always leaders. A female werewolf is always an alpha and always able to change others into werewolves.

I think this may be where your problem lay, darling. If you were being afforded alpha status by being female, he may have misunderstood your submission if it was not what he was expecting. And well, when mates get thrown into the mix, everything is all in a kerfuffle.

I'm hardly a werewolf expert so I am unsure how they handle a non-supernatural wolf. Once everything is settled, I'm sure Dolly would be able to tell you the answer to that question.

My dear lemon drop, you are over thinking it. Even I can show submission to a werewolf if I had the need to. They would think I had taken leave of my senses to do so, but it is possible.

Here! I'll demonstrate! Now, I wouldn't do this for just anyone.

[He's taking off his cravat pin because this is going to muss his cravat and he doesn't want the pin pulling the fabric. It's not so easy to replace at the moment]

Let's say I'm a werewolf.

[And he does an imitation of a werewolf, complete with holding his hands as if they were claws and making a obviously playful growl]

And I have said something my alpha doesn't like. When he gives me that look-

[He doesn't answer with words, but he reaches up to his collar and pulls it down, messing up his perfectly tied cravat, but also showing his long white neck as he turned his head slightly to the side]

And that's all it takes.

[He says as he starts fixing his cravat]

Do just that for Biffy and he will be assured you are not a threat to him or his mate.

But oh, dear, the professor... He is a beta, second-in-charge. If they are giving you alpha status, you outrank him. But he's also the mate of an alpha which means the pack would give him honorary alpha status...

I leave that judgement to you. If they are fine with just showing Biffy, I'd say don't even worry. If the situation seems like more is needed, then that is your decision to make.
