002 tea + biscuits (locked to tyrion lannister)
Who: Sansa Stark, Tyrion Lannister
Broadcast: n/a
Action: First Breath
When: 27 October
( It seems that Sansa has quite a bit to make up for after having been gone for several moons and she means to start doing so as soon as she's cleared from quarantine. She unfortunately has nothing to wear aside from the jumpsuits provided to passengers as soon as they arrive in the Fleet and none of her fine things from before are still around. It's a bit disconcerting, yes, but she can at least make her hair look nice even if the rest of her is a lost cause. She hails Tyrion before coming over, not wanting to drop in unexpectedly, and finds her way to his quarters. )
I'm sorry I don't have anything better to wear but as soon as we get to a system where I can buy fabric, I intend to work on new gowns. For now, though, you get this.
( It's such a small thing to be hung up on but she's hung up on it nonetheless. One should look their best when trying to make amends. )
You'll forgive me, I hope?

[He took her hands again, his face going serious.]
Your body is your own - and I will not force anything from you. My hand is good enough for me for any stray passions I have. You give me what you can, and I will be more than grateful.
no subject
I know and I am grateful. It's just...you deserve better, Tyrion, than to have a wife you cannot be with in both heart and body. Everyone deserves the chance to love and be loved and to express that with someone.
no subject
You deserve the same, Sansa, and I want to make it clear that I will do my utmost to be deserving of it. But you owe me nothing. Least of all your body.
no subject
( Sansa had been in the Fleet just long enough before to know that marital rights aren't something guaranteed to any man and that sharing her body should be of her own free will - but Tyrion, too, will have desires and wants that she's afraid she cannot fulfill. )
no subject
[Tyrion stated with a completely straight face.]
As long as we keep it attached, I shall have no problems.
no subject
( Sansa lifts them to kiss, first the backs of his hands and then the palms. She does care for him, very much, and hopes that eventually he'll be able to heal some of her hurts. )
no subject
You know, I don't think you have to worry about us, my dear. I think we are on the right path for marital bliss.
no subject
I hope so. I want to be happy with you, Tyrion, and to know I’ve brought you joy.
( It’s important to her to pursue this on her terms and seek something she wants for once instead of what others want for her. )
no subject
[He smiled at her, before exhaling.]
I should let you go.
no subject
I don't want to go, Tyrion. I just don't want to make things any harder on you, that's all. I want to sleep beside you.
( Sansa leans in and gently presses a kiss against his brow. )
no subject
Do you remember how we used to share a bed, in King's Landing? We can do the same - except facing one another, and perhaps a foot between us. I could hold your hand until you fell asleep.
no subject
( The idea of falling asleep holding Tyrion's hand is a very nice one, though, and she wants to do that very thing. )
no subject
[It was for his comfort - and hers.]
no subject
( After having disappeared against her will, Sansa isn't wanting to take any chances with her happiness. She intends to reach out and take it. )
no subject
It would not. Not in the slightest. I could even clear out some space, so you could keep clothes there for the next morning.
no subject
( It seems a very big step in her marriage but it's one that Sansa feels good about - and senses that Tyrion feels good about too. )
no subject
[He thinks about it, for a long moment.]
I should look into making some arrangements for larger quarters. I do not like dealing with the Atroma for this but ... Well.
no subject
I can contribute to that too. I know how to play their games now.
( Sansa doesn’t mind it so much. They’re better than dealing with Cersei. )
no subject
[He smiled, even wider, as he squeezed their hands together.]
no subject
( Sansa leans in, presses her lips against his ear in a kiss and then whispers: )
Then bring me to bed, Lord Husband. Will you?
no subject
Come with me, lady wife.
no subject
( Sansa has her smallclothes on beneath and she could sleep in just those but she doesn't know how Tyrion feels about that. )
I have my smallclothes. If I wrapped myself in the sheet, would it bother you if I slept that way?
no subject
[He chuckled softly, and wryly, before giving her a warm look over his shoulder.]
A sheet will cover more.
no subject
I don't know why I'm so modest about it. We are married.
no subject
We were married, true, but we are now courting. There is a difference. I am still attempting to win your favors, yes?
