[Crowley can be found behind the bar as normal. Unlike normal, however, he isn't here to give you a stupid time consuming network game, or pose a stupid drinking game or riddle. It's not a day for that kind of thing.

He manages to remain pretty laconic, uncaring - but today he is anything but. He also has a very large bottle of wine he's already half polished off. ]

So, today marks exactly ten years since I last saw home. Not just being here, of course. Adding in all my time in that fucking castle, too. It's a fart in the wind, time-wise, really. I've had longer naps.

[He's always been very vocal about not missing home. Hell is back home, recovering after the near apocalypse and waiting to see if they find him and punish him for what he did. Aziraphale has always been someone who's shown up once in a while, hung about for a bit and then vanished off home again. But...but, it's been an awfully long time since he last saw the angel. And for the first time in a long, long time, he's starting to feel a tug of homesickness.]

...But I guess ten years still counts for something, huh?

From the way you say it, I would wager you are not human and ten years is indeed not exactly that long for you, am I right?

[Crowley smiles at the screen.]

Let's say I have a professional and personal interest in other non-humans in the Fleet, seeing as I am one myself. But if I may point this out, this is basically what you said on the feed. It doesn't really take much effort to puzzle it out.

[At least, the 'not human' part. Still not quite clear on what he is, though.]

It wouldn't take much effort to puzzle it out if you asked around. I'm no big secret, never have been.

[But he's going to be contrary- because this guys wants something, and he doesn't really trust that.]

I could, but you are right here. Where better to get information but directly from the source? It is worth a shot to ask. Not to mention a lot more civilized and polite.

[Crowley's lived in England for the vast majority of his existence, he knows a lot of that politeness is bullshit. Normally, he has no problem telling people what he is, but wow this guy has rubbed him up the wrong way. ]

[Lyall has lived long enough that he is not going to take offense at that. He'll just give a little nod to the video feed.]

Actually, you are right. That was rather rude of me, was it not? I am usually more civilized than this, and I suppose I should even have started by introducing myself.

Name's Crowley. London was where I lived the most- before you know, the whole kidnapping thing.

We do have one, but our relocation in London is relatively recent. It happened only about three decades ago.

Is t only a different world, or a different time we come from as well? You do seem, well... rather more modern, I would say.

It was about 1990 when I last saw home, but I've been living in the Fleet for nearly four years and Paradisa before that. Add to the fact I already have my finger on the pulse of the modern age...so to speak and well.

That would be about a hundred years in the future from my own time, then.

Is such technology as what is present here more common in that time?

How about that, time's a funny thing.

Eh. A little. Nothing as fancy as this. We have phones and TVs and whatever. Computers. But the best anyone can do with space is go to the moon and maybe orbit the planet a couple times. No one's left the Milky Way yet.

[Not that's an interesting goal for humans. Why the moon? Then again it's always held some fascination for mortals.]

What about... 'reality TV', since apparently this is what we're doing?

Oh yeah, that's always a thing. Humans love it. Watching other people do stuff- sometimes in a house, sometimes in a jungle, sometimes in a singing competition. There's all sorts of varieties.

Singing... competition?

[... Okay, sure. Why not. He can't disagree that humans do love watching other people do stuff.]

They have gathered quite the variety of non-humans here. And I suppose it is debatable whether the viewers are human themselves.
