[ Elize has been faring much better since arriving. Of course, she still misses Teepo a great deal. But she can't keep herself locked away, moping in her personnel room for too long. It's lonely in there. Despite how shy she may be, she wants to meet people and make more friends. She's going to try. Although, expect her to possibly get flustered a lot when you speak to her.

The little girl can be found sticking around the docking station, lingering in front of the fleet ships. Unless invited, she won't board your ship. And don't worry, if it looks like you're busy, she won't bother you. She tries not to get into any trouble.

Leave her alone without talking to anyone for too long at the station, she'll grow bored and start to softly sing an original tune from the top of her head: ]

So many stars shining bright ♪
Maybe Teepo's somewhere in one of those specks of light ♪

[ Her voice is soft and amateurish. Not exactly a professional singer, but it seems like she's having fun. She ran out of words, so she's going to start humming another random tune she just came up with.

Feel free to run into her outside of your fleet ship. Or if you just happen to be on the SS Huntress, she's most likely already on board... ]

[ She smiles sheepishly, though she's looking a lot better than when he first spoke to her. Then she looks at the ball of air. ]

You know spirit artes? [ Or magic? Something else? She's more accustomed to using the term artes. ]

[He is really glad to see her feeling relatively better, and it's nice to see her in person on top of that. He does raise an eyebrow in confusion though.]

Huh? I know some spirits and how to make art, but... this? Oh, this is just some airbending, Elize! [He says that with a chuckle.]

Airbending? Oh. Uh... a-and that's not the kind of art I was talking about. Is it magic?

Oh. Well... It's like magic! But bending is using the energy within you to control the elements around you! Airbending means controlling the air.

[princessia]

[ She kind of guessed from the name. It's amazing though and it sounds like a useful skill. Is it like channeling mana? ]

Do spirits help you control the elements?

[savedtheworld]

Um... Not really. Some spirits can teach us things about bending or give more power to it, but our control of the elements... It all comes from inside us!

[princessia]

Oh... I think I understand?

[ From what she understands, he doesn't have to rely on symbiosis like the people of Rieze Maxia do. There's a pause when she considers saying "spirit artes" again. But she's going to try to use the word "magic" more often with the rest of the fleet. ]

Where I'm from, we have to rely on a... symbiotic relationship with the spirits to cast spells.

[ She smiles slightly as she explains, feeling pleased about being able to repeat the knowledge of spirit artes she learned from her friends to someone else. She speaks slowly, trying to reword her explanation to something more understandable for a non-Rieze Maxian native. Spirit artes to magic... ]

Humans give mana to the spirits and the spirits help us channel magic spells in exchange. It's symbiosis!

[He's not familiar with the concept of mana, but he manages to more or less get her explanation. He definitely looks very interested as it's described, and he makes a silent 'ooh'.]

Symbiosis? That sounds really neat! I love it when people and spirits can get along together... so I'm really glad that people do it where you're from.

[ She's strongly convinced that she can't, even though she hasn't bothered trying yet. The thought of casting spirit artes without Teepo by her side still frightens her. She hasn't attempted channeling her mana since the day she arrived. ]

[...Oh. Now it feels like he hit a sore spot and he frowns sympathetically.]

[ At least she doesn't cry about it anymore. She shakes her head. ]

N-no... you don't need to apologize. I have to be strong and hope that I can see him again. Just like what happened to you and your friend Appa.

[He smiles warmly at that. He's glad that he got through to her and that she seems to have gotten that much strength from his words.]

Yeah... Like that. It sounds like you're already really strong, Elize. I know that Teepo would be proud of you.

[ Tucking her arms behind her back, she looks down sheepishly with a blush forming on her face.

Strong? Her spells are strong, but that's different. That sort of trait is one she mostly associates with Milla, who she believes has both the physical and mental strength.

She'd like to think she's becoming as strong as Milla. ]

You're welcome! [He grins cheerily, having been sitting on a crate this whole time. One hand is resting on his knee while the other is moving the little ball of air around playfully.]

If you can't use your magic right now, than I'm just gonna have to show you more bending tricks!

[princessia]

[ If only she could use her magic, she'd be able to help the fleet much more. For now, she's doing her best to stay out of trouble and avoid getting in the way until Teepo is returned to her.

She looks back up with a small smile. ]

I'd... like that a lot. What else can you do with your bending?

[He makes the little ball of air disappear and looks on with an attempt at a thoughtful smile.]

All kinds of things! And I think I know just the trick to start with.

[princessia]

Oh?

[ She watches him, expectantly. She's ready for this! ]

Show me!

Alright. Watch carefully, Elize!

[He reaches into his sleeve and he pulls out something that he keeps concealed between his hands.

Then he finally opens his hands and...]
