[ Elize has been faring much better since arriving. Of course, she still misses Teepo a great deal. But she can't keep herself locked away, moping in her personnel room for too long. It's lonely in there. Despite how shy she may be, she wants to meet people and make more friends. She's going to try. Although, expect her to possibly get flustered a lot when you speak to her.

The little girl can be found sticking around the docking station, lingering in front of the fleet ships. Unless invited, she won't board your ship. And don't worry, if it looks like you're busy, she won't bother you. She tries not to get into any trouble.

Leave her alone without talking to anyone for too long at the station, she'll grow bored and start to softly sing an original tune from the top of her head: ]

So many stars shining bright ♪
Maybe Teepo's somewhere in one of those specks of light ♪

[ Her voice is soft and amateurish. Not exactly a professional singer, but it seems like she's having fun. She ran out of words, so she's going to start humming another random tune she just came up with.

Feel free to run into her outside of your fleet ship. Or if you just happen to be on the SS Huntress, she's most likely already on board... ]

Yeah, it's no problem.

[ That's more of an automatic response than anything, but he leads her there without issue and hovers for a moment. ]

You want something to drink, or—?

[ It's not like their kitchen is completely decked out or anything. Oh wait, yes it is. ]

Umm... [ Awkwardly just standing in the kitchen, fidgeting a bit. ]

A... cup of tea, if you have any?

Yeah, actually. We've got that.

[ It helps to have the kitchen fully upgraded, whatever that really means for their living situation. It isn't glamorous but at least they have options now. Chris busies himself getting the cup and running the dispenser, looking over his shoulder to Elize while he does. ]

Chris, by the way. I'm... lab support here.

[ After a few more moments of just standing there, she finally seats herself in the nearest chair with her feet just dangling a little bit above the floor. She looks around, recognizing the layout of the kitchen to be much similar to the Wonderduck, fully upgraded and all. ]

My name is Elize. [ She pauses, swinging her legs. She should try to talk more if she wants to make friends... ]

I'm the personnel at the Wonderduck.

[ Whatever personnel means... she's not sure. ]

The Wonderduck, huh?

[ That gets a grin when he turns around and places the cup on the table for her. ]

My dad used to be on that ship before he transferred here. What kind of personnel?

[ A small smile as she nods a quiet thank you for the tea. When he mentions his father, she suddenly can't help but feel somewhat envious. ]

Your father's here?

[ As for the kind of personnel... she's not really sure what the word means. She knows it's her augment and that she now has a basic understanding of how certain things on the ship work. A blush spreads across her face as she stumbles with her words. ]

Uh... umm... the... kind that helps people!

[ It's okay to be jealous. Chris knows he's lucky with that, but he also isn't so sensitive that he just won't toss it around when it comes up. ]

Yeah, he is. He's a bit... shy... but you might see him if you come around more often.

[ Because Cole with kids is surprisingly adorable and Chris wouldn't say no to tossing this cute little girl at the mighty Belthazor. Such a great son! He blinks at her answer and then gives a bemused smile. Oh, okay. ]

Really? Sounds great. You helping Cullen?

I'll say hello to him if I see him.

[ With Cullen part of the crew, she's very likely to drop by the Huntress very often. She'd also grown quite fond of Shirley. And while she does feel jealous, but she knows she isn't the only one without their parent around. ]

No...? Not right now. [ More like he's helping her by promising to keep her company when she needs it. ] I'm visiting Cullen.

His name is Cole.

[ Yeah, names probably help. ]

Right... visiting. You guys gonna... play or something?

[ Sorry, Cullen, but Chris doesn't trust this enough to not be without some doubt. Small child visiting grown adult? Uh??? ]

Cole? What does he look like?

[ Totally thinking of the wrong Cole right now. She met someone named Cole at the station, who was also part of the fleet... and has a big hat. He didn't look old enough to be a parent though. ]

Yes! Umm... if he wants to play a game, maybe.

[ She knows adults either don't have time for games or just aren't interested. ]

Like me, but... [ He makes a vague, unhelpful gesture. ] Little taller, wider. Not that much older. It's kind of complicated.

[ Considering Chris is in his early twenties and his father only looks to be in his thirties—complicated indeed. ]

Oh. What kind of games do you like?

Oh... okay?

[ She'll just leave it at that and greet him whenever she sees him. It's a different Cole from the one she met is all she understands. ]

Word games? Like, pop quizzes!

[ And bouncing Teepo, but he's not here. Though she'd like to play some new games too. She watched other children play different games in Hamil, but she wasn't allowed to join in on that. ]

[ He doesn't really know how else to describe Cole, so Elize will definitely have to find out on her own. It's not going to be hard, at least. ]

Word games... There's a lot of those. Does Cullen do pop quizzes with you?

Not yet? [ A small shrug. She didn't really have time to think of questions for a pop quiz. ] But we played a question game.

[ There wasn't any winner or loser to that though. It was more like getting to know each other better. ]

I was hoping we could play something like hide-and-seek this time around.

[ She's actually really cute and Chris can't help but notice that. No wonder Cullen's taken in by her already... ]

Not a whole lot of places to hide... but hey, if you need me to move some stuff around to make a good spot, let me know, right?

[ Probably going to be hard to play on the ship, but she'll give it a try anyway. She manages a small smile when he offers his help, beginning to feel more at ease speaking to him. ]

I will. Thank you.

[ He appreciates that. He might not be good with kids, but at least he's less of a muck-up with them than he is with adults. Probably because he doesn't need to really prove himself with them. ]

Great. Good.

[ ... that doesn't mean he can't be awkward sometimes. ]
