[Well he certainly has quite a bit of work to finish up for this wedding on Christmas and he knows he couldn't possibly do it without the help of Lance. For that reason he calls him up while he's got some down time in his shop. Might as well. Besides, he does so love talking to the young man who he feels very much a brotherly love for.

So with a cup of tea in hand, he sits down and calls him up, smiling warmly when Lance picks up.]

Good evening, Lance. Do you have a moment to discuss my wedding further?

I wouldn't be surprised if she still does. I know my siblings still mean a great deal to me even if I don't see them any more.

[With Lance presentable again, he sits back. And actually, he doesn't bother with his jacket. He'll deal with that later when Lance isn't here.]

[the_tailor]

That's family for you.

[He takes another deep breath, still working on fully calming himself down.]

...I think I really needed to get all of that out.

[dandyofawolf]

I know.

[It's why he set aside the wedding so that way Lance could do exactly that. Far better than to let that continue to stay under the surface.]

[the_tailor]

I can't promise something like this won't happen again, what with how bad I seem to be in getting past this sort of stuff, but I'll try my best. I want to get stronger so I won't have all these doubts anymore.

[dandyofawolf]

Everyone has doubts, Lance. And if they don't? Then they're overconfident without cause. What matters is that you have somewhere to go when you have those doubts, someone to help you overcome them. That's what I'm here for.

[the_tailor]

I'm going to just keep thanking you a gazillion more times, Biffy. And... I don't know how useful I'll be, but if you ever need to talk or vent or ever need someone, I'm always here for you.

If there is ever a time when I become glitched to around twenty years ago please make sure you give me that same offer. I promise I'll need it most desperately.

[He's not even joking about that either.]

For now though, you're more than useful. Just as you are. Supporting me as I plan a wedding rapidly since I have weeks to finish it rather than months.

[the_tailor]

I'll make you that offer no matter what the situation is. 100%. I'm not kidding when I say you're one of my absolute closest friends now, and I'd do anything to help you.

You're a wonderful person, Lance. Never let anyone convince you otherwise.

[He gently squeezes his hand before getting up to move his chair back across the little table.]

Now, about that wedding!

Well it's always good to know that I'm useful in either form I take.

[A chuckle and he finally goes to fetch his notes again.]

So, the wedding. It seems a lot of things are taken care of now. I think the main thing will be decorating the day of. I'm not quite sure how I want it to look yet.

[the_tailor]

Yeah, we definitely need to get on those decorations soon. There's a chance we'll have to order some, and I want to make sure we have enough time for them to arrive.

[He doesn't trust shipping times the closer they creep towards Christmas.]

I'm hoping to have a chance to go looking down on the planet to see what they have. They may have some things to help pull this together.

[He opens the little booklet and flips through to a page.]

Do you feel an archway over us would be too much for the ceremony?

[He doesn't think so but obviously it's best to have another opinion.]

[the_tailor]

I'll go with you! We'll make it a friend-date. Bro-date? Nah, that sounds kind of douchey, pardon my French. Friend-date.

[To the question, he shakes his head.]

No way! I think arches look great at weddings. We can even get it decorated with some flowers. Something white, to look good with the color scheme. Maybe they have something like white roses here, and gardenias...

That sounds wonderful.

[His face lights up over the approval of his idea for the arch. More so at the mention of flowers.]

How beautiful. I wonder if there are some blue ones he can slip in here and there. Just for a pop of color. Oh! No, I have a better idea. Gardenias with blue ribbon to tie them on.

[the_tailor]

Ooooh! That'd be great. If there are blue flowers on this planet, we can always put a few in to accent it if anything. But the ribbons sound great!

[He clasps his hands together. God, he is so into this wedding.]

And this is why I asked you to help me work on this. You can fully appreciate a vision before it has even realized.

[He laughs and jots down some more notes.]

A shame I have no artistic talent anymore these days or I'd sketch what it could look like. Well, we will just have to see what the planet has and work with it.

Probably the best. I'd like to see the flowers myself before finishing up that idea. It all depends on what they look like, since they're not going to be the same as Earth flowers anyway.

Of course. We can go visit the planet to see what they have for us. I'm sure there must be some form of winter flower that grows here.
