[Oh, she could very happily stay here forever. The warmth of the water feels amazing and even her powers feel calm and refreshed. Wanda spends much of her time here, stretched out in the water with a tablet and almost the most relaxed she's ever felt.

She looks up from her reading at approaching footsteps and waves, flashing a lazy smile. This might be the happiest most people have seen her.]

ii. deck the halls
[Wanda's easily swept up in the preparations for the daily festivities - if she's not helping put decorations somewhere that can't be reached without a ladder, she's probably working in a kitchen, swapping recipes with the natives and doing a little experimentation of her own.

Maybe she's approached you for your opinion on the upper levels of a tree, or maybe she's holding out some sort of berry pastry she made in collaboration with her partner today.]

iii. let it go
[The tree is beautiful and even the air here feels oddly charged. It's electric, making something deep inside her thrum in time with the musical tones. Even her power stirs within her, turning her green eyes a softly glowing red.

Wanda lays a hand on it and involuntarily scarlet glows from her fingertips in response. Maybe she should be concerned that it has such a strong effect on her, but everything feels so joyful here.]

It is real, [she says in hushed, awed tones.] I wonder if the other stories about it were true.

[Okay, that gets a surprised chuckle out of her, not expecting that reaction.] You did know you were dating, right?

[This is it; this is how she dies. If it's even possible, Wanda's cheeks darken.]

We've been dating.

And you merged rooms, so I'm guessing it's going okay. [She finally decides to sit, absently phasing off her boots and socks so she can try warming them in the hot springs instead.]

(OOC: I'm pretty sure Vision told her that, but if I got it wrong just let me know and I can change it.)

It's going...it's going very well.

[And hopefully no one's heard anything Wanda would rather they didn't. But oh look, a distraction:] See? I told you it was nice.

[She's not getting off the hook that easily, is she?]

[Kitty smiles over at her.] Very well sounds like a very good place to be. I'm glad you two have each other. Vision's a really great guy. [Her feelings about the both of them are very warm. Familial in away that may feel unearned especially to Wanda who wasn't the first Wanda Kitty met and befriended. But Kitty has a soft spot for mutants and when she lacks those misfits with powers will do. And another one for her crew. They check both those boxes.]

And the water hasn't given me fins or anything yet so it's okay too.

[She looks down, still blushing.] He's the best thing to happen to me.

[It's odd - she has a feeling that technically Kitty's known him longer since she doesn't remember her last stay here. Wanda's sure she must have some stories...]

I'm glad you keep finding your way to each other.

[There are always stories! For now Kitty just looks very fond and happy for Wanda hearing he's the best thing that's ever happened to her. Sure, it also says something about the rest of her life, but she can relate to that. There's definitely an underpinning of something else to her happiness for her shipmate and friend though. Just a dull ever-present ache of missing the person she would have described that way. These places bring you together with people just as much as they tear you apart. He won't be back home waiting for her to reconnect. They aren't from the same world and even if they did her world is doomed and she's extra doomed in it. She's been moving on to the best of her ability. Wanda may have noticed she spends some nights in Vash's quarters or vice versa. Or seen the occasional kiss in the hall. She cares about him too, but Winn was on the verge of asking him to marry her. She found the ring in his things after he disappeared. She wears it on a chain around her neck.]

And at least being green wouldn't be totally out of line for a mutant. Even if blue is more common for some reason.
