Hot Springs

[Veronica isn't terribly fond of this cold weather. She's from Cuba, after all, and is more used to sun and sand and things being perhaps too hot. The cold? She's not great at dealing with that.

And it's not doing her old leg wound from early Galra occupation any favors. Having heard about the hot springs, however, she is determined to check them out and bathe to her heart's content. The hike is a bit tedious, and she's limping slightly by the time the steaming luminescent water comes into view. With a pleased sigh and no shame, she strips down to her undergarments and hops right in. It feels great, nice and toasty warm, and she leans back against the edge of the water, eyes closing in contentment.]

Much better.


Shopping

[It's coming up on Christmas, which means presents. Veronica doesn't know a whole lot of people here at the fleet, but she's at least determined to get Lance something nice. She happily peruses every shop and kiosk she can find, only pausing to warm up with a cup of hot berry tea. She can be found in just about any shop. If she's not actively shopping, she's browsing and exploring all these strange new places.]


Sorta Hockey

[How could she visit a new planet and not go to their sports games?! Veronica is excitedly cheering along with the rest of the crowd, even though she doesn't quite understand the rules. Nor is she cheering for any particular team. She's trying to work out what exactly the small angry person does, but the crowd seems to love it, and she's all for that team spirit. Even if she's...a little bit lost about the game itself. Naturally, she's dressed warmly, and is rarely seen without a cup of steaming hot beverage to keep herself warm and toasty.]

Uh... don't you... have a swimsuit?

[That sure looked like just her underwear she hopped in with.]

Shopping

[One of the things he's missed sorely has been going out shopping with his sister. So, Lance is all for going on a present shopping spree with her. Even though she doesn't know all of his friends well yet, it's still good to have a second opinion, and he can give her some suggestions as well.

A few bags in hand, the two of them decide to take a break and sit at a cafe. Lance sips as well at the tea, feeling it warm him, and loving the sweetness.]

Mmmm... This is so good.

[Veronica glances over to him and laughs, rolling her eyes.]

Don't you have a boyfriend? My important bits are covered.

[itsyagirl]

[It's great to spend time with Lance in such a familiar setting. He remembers everything now, which is...sort of nice to at least not have to hide anything from him, and the comfort of having her brother to do something normal with is impossible to deny.

Veronica nods, adding a bit more sugar to hers.] It really is. This place is amazing.

[tempredmental]

Yeah, but... my boyfriend, who also happens to be your brother probably won't appreciate me seeing your underwear...

[Keith's trademark pouty scowl made an appearance at that.]

I'm not hiking back just for a bathing suit, Keith.

[She sticks her tongue out at him.] Besides, this does the same as a bikini would.

But... you knew this was here, right?

[He frowned a bit. Had she come unprepared?]

It is. We never really got to see snow before, you know? Between home and being at the Garrison. I mean, other than that one trip we had to New York.

[Where he'd been dared to lick a frozen pole.

Everyone can imagine how well that turned out.]
