MARSIVA - Hospitality Deck: Arrival Video
[ Waking up in a foreign place was extremely unpleasant. Krolia had assumed she was still in the hospital, by her son's side after their fierce battle-- she soon discovered she was wrong. She wasn't alone: There is a human male, with a metal arm (That wasn't Shiro, unfortunately), but she hadn't approached him quite yet. She awoke with a start, immediately going for her luxite blade only to find she had been disarmed, her clothing clean and repaired from previous encounters. She turns her attention to the camera. ]
I'm not used to this sort of hospitality while being imprisoned. [ A beat. ] Your attempt to placate me is noted, but I will not cooperate.
[ That is to say, she will not cooperate depending on what they are asking of her. If it had to do with her son? She will do everything to make sure he was safe. ]
MARSIVA - Hospitality Deck: B o r e d
[ Twenty-four vargas and she was steadily working through all of her meditation efforts. She has attempted training, exploring (as much as she could), and is doing her best to not pace a hole through the floor. Nothing was easing her mind of the situation. She was trapped on a ship in deep space with no idea where in deep space she was. Krolia was disciplined! She could handle being trapped, she could handle being housed in a single area, but the silence from her captors was having her start to question their intentions. ]
SS TWIN ROSES-- Bridge
[ It felt like blinking. One moment she was looking at kicking over a bed on the Hospitality deck for fun, the next she was on the bridge of an entirely new ship. Her stomach twisted, immediately dropping in a defensive stance when she finally had her wits about her. After a moment, she has the sound mind to realize that going on the defensive early on may not be the best.
She relaxes her stance, hands quickly put into a resting position behind her back. She would play their game, so let them try and catch her off guard. ]
I apologize for the sudden entrance. [ Not that she could help it. She moves to pull confetti out of her hair. ] Krolia, reporting for duty.
Fleet Wide Network-- Video
Good evening.
[ She sits with her hands folded, looking into the camera with a stern expression. Her eyes narrow slightly, but she appears relaxed in her new cabin. She has questions but-- she would let people come to her. ]
I am curious about what the point of our arrival. What goal is in mind and what information is anyone willing to share?

[ She smiles at him, just grateful he was safe. Or as safe as you could be with mystery captors. ]
no subject
Okay. I'll be there in a couple of doboshes.
[He could only imagine how many questions Krolia had, really. But that was fine. He'd answer all the questions she asked. He was just happy to have her here. He hadn't gotten much time with her after she got back to Earth, and he'd honestly been worried about her and Kolivan on their own trying to find the rest of the Blades.
He cut the video feed, using the transporter to beam across from the Huntress to the Twin Roses. He hugged her as soon as he saw her, visibly in better shape than when she'd seen him finally wake up in the hospital on Earth.]
It's good to see you again.
no subject
[ She pulls back from their hug, taking a look to check him over. The last time she saw him, he had been unconscious in a hospital bed, but once she was satisfied with his health, she stepped back. ]
Why don't we go to my quarters? We can talk in private there.
[ Or well, private-ish. She knows most ships have ears. ]
no subject
Yeah. That sounds like a good idea.
[He followed her along. He'd never been to the Twin Roses before, and he wasn't sure which room she had ended up in, but watching her duck was a little concerning. Keith wasn't exactly short, but he wasn't anywhere near as tall as a full-blooded Galra, either. He knew Ulaz had problems with the ceiling heights now and then, too.
As a test, he reached up just as they reached her quarters and was able to easily reach the ceiling without straightening his arm completely.]
This ship has lower ceilings than the others...
no subject
It'll do for now. [ It wouldn't be the first time she was in a cramped space. ] So. Tell me what you have been doing here. The last I saw you, you were in a hospital bed.
[ Which she's still concerned over. ]
no subject
Really?
[Keith frowned a little bit about that and then nodded.]
Well, I'm from a little further along than that back home. I was just cleared to get back to active duty. [So, yes, Mom... he was fine.] I had just showed you were Dad is, actually. [That was a bit of a somber moment.]

[ They went to his grave. She finally got to say her goodbyes and she doesn't know it yet. Krolia takes a dobash to compose herself, trying to reconcile the slight time difference between them. ]
I'm glad you took me. Hopefully, I'll get to experience that soon.
[ Because truly, there were many things she regretted in her life-- and leaving her family behind was the biggest one. ]
no subject
[It had been an important moment for him, too. Being able to have that with his mom had a huge impact on his ability to deal with the loss and find closure. He hoped it did the same for her. Or that it would.
He managed to give her a small smile, though it was sad.]
But, I'm okay now. I know you were worried. I was the last one to wake up.
[He hadn't liked missing that much time, either. And, being the impatient patient he was, trying to take it easy to let a head injury heal had been awfully difficult because it meant light activity both physically and mentally.
Keith didn't do well with forced downtime.]
But, I've been here off and on for a while now. It's weird. I first arrived shortly after we did the first big joint mission with the Blade of Marmora, when we defeated Zarkon just before Lotor took over pro tem. But, every once in a while, it was like I went home again, and then came back. But, while I was home, I didn't remember the Fleet at all. I got sent back right to the point when I had left, so it was like I was never gone.
Here, we've been gathering information as much as possible. We were brought here by Atroma. We're not sure what they are, but it seems to be some sort of organization. There's a stash of information we have written down and not on the network. So far, Atroma can't get it. I can show you where it is later. But, I'm a pilot on the Huntress.
no subject
[ It's a lot of information to process, but she is proud of what he's doing and not simply taking the Atroma at their word. The more they knew, the more they could find out what they wanted, or who they were. ]
Show me when the time is right. For now, what can I do to help you?
no subject
In this system, we're looking into a special kind of ore that the planet has. It's apparently good for the ships and worth a lot, but we don't know a lot about it. So, getting a few samples to look into what it can do is something they want to do. And probably some extra to sell off for credits.
There's a group called the Interceptor Fleet. They were part of Drift Fleet last season. They're looking for the ore as well, and they've been helping us as much as they can against Atroma. They gave us the tip about the ore, too, so we're helping them dig some up.
[A distinctive and familiar flash appeared in the room and Kosmo appeared... except, he still looked like a puppy.]
Oh, yeah... there's apparently a wishing tree on the planet. I checked it out. It works, with some restrictions.
no subject
[ A pause, before she smiles and gives Kosmo a pat on the head. Small or not, she's glad to see him again ]
What happened between the Interceptor Fleet and the Atroma?
no subject
The Interceptors were able to break away when they flew through a nebula that disrupted communications. Apparently, it also affected the link Atroma has with the Fleet. It didn't come without a price, though, and they had some pretty significant losses. They want to break us free, too, but... they don't want to put our group through the same losses they had with theirs.
no subject
Do you believe it was the nebula disrupting their systems that caused the loss or the Atroma?
[ Either were a possibility if the Atroma could no longer contact the Interceptor Fleet. Either their communications went down and their cries for assistance were ignored and the loss was due to lack of supplies, or the Atroma had a long reach. Was that even possible? ]
no subject
[Then, like something had just occurred to him, Keith sat up a bit and reached behind him to detach something from his belt. He handed over the Marmora blade.]
Here... I have my bayard. [As well as a few others...] I can use that instead.
no subject
Thank you. [ She pulls back slightly. ] But this is your blade. I will return it to you.
What can I do to help?
no subject
As for helping...]
Right now, we're just trying to get as much information as possible so we can make a plan.
In the meantime, we can hook up your suit's comm system to the private network we have, too. We've been using it separate from the normal one. Our Paladin suits are connected to it, as is my Blade suit, but we're not connecting the Atroma comms to it right now. We don't want to give Atroma a potentially easy route to hack into it.

[ A minor setback. ]

There was one thing a few months back... we were all on the Marsiva, but in a different area. We were like... sharing dreams and memories or something. Almost like when you and I were in the abyss with those flashes of time compression.
People who've been here longer said that it's happened a few times before, so there's a chance it might happen again.
no subject
[ There has to be a way back without the influence of the Atroma. It sounds like that is where they are located (at the very least) but what else could be on board? ]
The last time you were here... were you simply dreaming or were you able to explore the area you were in?
no subject
[Keith wasn't sure how to describe what Castiel had shared with him in the dream.]
It was like this... oily black blob thing... in there... [He visibly shuddered. Thinking about it instilled some sort of strange dread in him. He wasn't sure why. Apparently, everyone that had gone had experienced that sensation, and everyone that Cas shared his memories with through the dream had felt it, too.]
no subject
I know this might be difficult, but did they say anything more other then what it looked like? Did it move?
[ She won't push if she didn't need to, but her curiosity was getting the best of her. ]
no subject
One of the people who went... he had the ability to share dreams. He showed me what they saw. It was moving, definitely alive. It was weird, though. The window they found wasn't always showing what they saw. And, when they did get a glimpse inside, it wasn't always the same window. There was something trying to actively prevent them from seeing anything, but it's like it was failing or breaking down.
