[The comm clicks on to an active video stream, where a mostly-empty Iskaulit room has some sparse decor- a long table, a couple of chairs, some sort of design board, and a... mannequin? A very crude-looking one, anyway.

Suddenly a hefty-looking box - some might recognize the familiar appearance of a sponsor drop - floats into view, is plopped down on the floor, and opened. Long swatches of fabric are pulled out and draped over the edges, some soft and beautiful, others rather silly looking. Once it seems as if enough of the fabrics are on display, someone huffs quietly.]

Apparently someone thinks I ought to be sewing more- or, more likely, they want us all looking presentable. Much as I don't like indulging our audience, we all know how dull time between planets can get, and I've been thinking about this for a while anyway, so... I guess you can call this my unofficial sewing shop? At least, I'm open to taking project commissions. It doesn't have a name or anything... oh, this is Mikleo, for those who don't know. I don't show up on camera, sorry.

Let's see, examples of my work... ah, Sorey, here-

[There's a bit of shuffling and quiet voices, and Sorey is prodded into view, clad in an intricately embroidered tunic. He waves awkwardly.]

This is a replica of one he used to have at home, so if you need a redesign or modification of an existing piece, I can do that. And hang on-

[Sorey is dragged off. More shuffling about, and a moment later he's back wearing something a little less fantasy. This is repeated a couple of times to showcase differing style and skill level, until at last his poor model is released from duty.]

You get the idea. Anyway, if you want to make an order, I'll be over on the Iskaulit for a while, or we can hash things out with the communicator until we're ready to take measurements. For pricing...

...I have no idea how to even decide that. At least the cost of materials, I suppose.

[True to his word, Mikleo will be hanging out in his new Iskaulit room, decorating it and organizing the mess of fabrics he's had dumped upon him. Come visit! And for those who don't know him, Mikleo is a spirit so check out his resonance permissions, eyyy. If you can't see or hear him, be sure to bring your communicator!

Later, Mikleo will be back on the Huntress, spending some time in the lounge or in his room as he sketches out some designs for new projects or gets some sewing done on current ones.]

Yeah... probably for the best, though. Travel between planets is always a pain, since there's never enough to do. This'll keep me occupied for some time.

Yeah, it can get pretty boring... [ He leans over, grinning. ] Why do you think I sleep so much?

[Always flopping down in the grass somewhere...]

It's not lazy! It's enjoying the freedom to relax for a while!

[He lifts a fine black material out of the box, sleek and a bit shiny, and holds it up towards the light.]

How about this? For your coat, I mean. Black makes for a nice contrast with your hair.

[ Zaveid leans forward immediately, reaching out to trail his fingers against the fabric. ]

Damn. That looks pretty good. My old one was black and green, too.

Do you want a new design, or a close replica of the old one?

[He's trying to think if he remembers the design well enough, now. How long ago was that, even??]

Hmm... How about something like it, but with it's own 'Mikleo' flair?

[ He's grinning now, head resting in his hand. ]

[Mikleo quirks a brow.]

[Mikleo just laughs. It's a little self-indulgent, but he can't help it. The whole situation is just absurd.]

Forget it. You've got me intrigued now, so go on- draw what you want.

[He gestures to a design board set up in the corner, ready and waiting for a new project.]

[ He grins, leaning back, but he goes over to the board all the same. ]

C'mon. You like it.

[ But he gets to work, drawing something that's very similar to his original jacket, with a few tweaks here and there to make it more modern. ]

[Mikleo tries to be subtle about it, but he can't help his curiosity, leaning around Zaveid to watch him draw.]

Huh... that's not bad, actually.

[airily]

Yeah! I got some skill!

[ He grins, nudging Mikleo gently before he begins again. ]

Though I guess Theodora was always in charge of clothes before.

[tsunergy]

[Mikleo pauses at that, considering his response before speaking. Theodora isn't someone who comes up a lot, and he doesn't want to be unintentionally callous about it.]

Yeah? What'd she get you to wear?
