[Honestly, this waking up on the Marsiva with a coughing fit thing is getting old. Also confusing this time round, because she's pretty sure she didn't go home. There's nothing to go home to. When she checks the network, she finds she's been gone for months.

In light of feeling like death warmed up, she elects to pull the blankets up in the room she finds herself in and rest. When she can hold a conversation without sounding so raw, she'll hit the network. The last time this happened she hadn't been sure of her welcome. This time, she knows. People will have missed her.

Which is a good feeling. She'll need to let them know she's all right.]

[As it turns out, she's only on the Marsiva for a matter of hours, which is new. The musical intro is what wakes her as she's dumped suddenly onto the bridge of an unfamiliar ship. Instinctively, then, she shields her face, because the last thing she needs to do right now is inhale the confetti that comes raining down. It would be a terrible first impression.

So... it's not the most graceful entrance she's ever done, that's for sure-- meet your new Tactical officer? A thin, sickly woman in a kimono. Hi. She'll do her best to introduce herself to the crew politely and then find a way to whichever room will be hers for the time being. She'd like nothing more than to go back to sleep, but at this point it would be the height of rudeness not to alert people to her return.

Yeah, I went through same kinda thing when I vanished 'while back now. Was just like I went to bed one night, then woke up again months later. Didn't 'go' 'nywhere or 'nything like some say they do, goin' home 'nd the like, just like I was never gone.

Worse thing 'bout it was most of m' stuff was gone, all the things I had gotten from different planets 'nd all my credits.

Oui, ya stuff managed to survive. Though we did pack up most of them for safe storage, just in case the room got taken. They all be in the storage bay. Oh, kept ya, [Ah, what was it called again?] Musical 'nstrument 'nd... polearm, [He thinks? It kinda looks like one. Kind of. In parts. And blades. And looked complicated.] Separate though, to make sure they didn't get damaged with being packed. Or, ya know, damaged something else. Those blades got real pointy ends to them.

[The description brings a faintly amused smile to her face, and Makie inclines her head.]

'm just happy ya came back to reclaim them. [Then a chuckle as he decided to voice his earlier thoughts.] Know that sounds kinda selfish though, since means ya ain't home. It just be nice to have a familiar face who remembers this all, to not have lost those connections, hein? [It doesn't happen nearly as much as he wished it would.]

The Fleet is my home. You don't need to fear sounding selfish. [She's kinda dead back in Japan, and god knows this place has been much less hostile to her in general.]

How 'bout I sort out ya stuff 'nd I bring it 'round in a couple of hours? Give ya a chance to set everything back up 'nd move back in.

[She should tell him not to go to so much trouble, but the honest fact is Makie couldn't manage it herself right now.]
