Send Me An Angel

Who: Makie and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Caprine (or Marsiva if you find her hidden away)
When: Post shuffle!

[Marsiva]

[Honestly, this waking up on the Marsiva with a coughing fit thing is getting old.  Also confusing this time round, because she's pretty sure she didn't go home.  There's nothing to go home to.  When she checks the network, she finds she's been gone for months.

...where?

In light of feeling like death warmed up, she elects to pull the blankets up in the room she finds herself in and rest.  When she can hold a conversation without sounding so raw, she'll hit the network.  The last time this happened she hadn't been sure of her welcome.  This time, she knows.  People will have missed her.

Which is a good feeling.  She'll need to let them know she's all right.]

[Caprine]

[As it turns out, she's only on the Marsiva for a matter of hours, which is new.  The musical intro is what wakes her as she's dumped suddenly onto the bridge of an unfamiliar ship.  Instinctively, then, she shields her face, because the last thing she needs to do right now is inhale the confetti that comes raining down.  It would be a terrible first impression.

So... it's not the most graceful entrance she's ever done, that's for sure-- meet your new Tactical officer?  A thin, sickly woman in a kimono.  Hi. She'll do her best to introduce herself to the crew politely and then find a way to whichever room will be hers for the time being.  She'd like nothing more than to go back to sleep, but at this point it would be the height of rudeness not to alert people to her return.

So.]

I don't understand why this has happened, but it seems I've... been gone for some time.  I am sorry.  Is... everyone still here?

[That's a pretty vague question, Makie.]

Maybe people wouldn't talk about you behind your back if you dressed like a normal person.

[Ignoring you now Manji]

So, ma'am, I take it you're newly returned. Has Manji introduced you to his father?

He also has an adoptive brother now. Apparently, both of them have kicked his arse in a fight.

Do ya remember Kogarasumaru? The kid means him. Apparently he seems to consider me a son or something. I've given up trying to get him to stop. [It's pretty embarrassing even if Koga was a total bad ass in a fight.]

He was the one who encouraged and helped Manji get back his arm. From the last planet, we were on. There was a tree which you could reveal a secret or story to and it would sometimes reward you with something from home.
canofmanji: (Oro?)

[personal profile] canofmanji 2019-02-09 12:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Really? You think there's something weirder than body parts being asked for?
permanentlyexhaustedbird: (thinkybird)

[personal profile] permanentlyexhaustedbird 2019-02-09 12:19 pm (UTC)(link)
It might just be weirder body parts? Like an internal organ?
canofmanji: (Wait she's on my side?)

[personal profile] canofmanji 2019-02-10 12:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Memory? Huh. That would be pretty weird. [He hadn't even considered something like that.]
permanentlyexhaustedbird: (itchbird)

[personal profile] permanentlyexhaustedbird 2019-02-10 12:12 pm (UTC)(link)
That makes sense. You'd have to have forgotten something but you could make an argument that memory is odder than an arm. Although I don't suppose it doesn't have to be your own memory.
canofmanji: (Why does everyone chop my legs off?)

[personal profile] canofmanji 2019-02-11 11:33 am (UTC)(link)
Don't see how you would think to ask for a memory back. Can't miss a memory once it's gone.

[personal profile] permanentlyexhaustedbird 2019-02-11 11:48 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but you didn't ask for what I got back. I simply told it a secret and waited to see what I got. You simply got your arm back because it was the only thing it had to give you.
canofmanji: (Don't be stupid)

[personal profile] canofmanji 2019-02-12 12:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I had lots of stuff I left back home! [What besides his weapons did he leave back home?] Lots and lots of stuff!
permanentlyexhaustedbird: (sexybird)

[personal profile] permanentlyexhaustedbird 2019-02-12 12:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Like what? You look like a hobo.
canofmanji: (You're so dead)

[personal profile] canofmanji 2019-02-13 10:17 am (UTC)(link)
Better then a crazy kid with a blanket on my face.
permanentlyexhaustedbird: (judgingbird)

[personal profile] permanentlyexhaustedbird 2019-02-13 10:25 am (UTC)(link)
I would take an actual blanket on my head before I let myself smell like you.
canofmanji: (Not always grumpy)

[personal profile] canofmanji 2019-02-13 10:34 am (UTC)(link)
It's called a manly musk kid. Ladies love it and one day you'll understand.
permanentlyexhaustedbird: (smirkybird)

[personal profile] permanentlyexhaustedbird 2019-02-13 10:45 am (UTC)(link)
Well, why don't we just ask a lady?

Makie, was it? Is Manji's [Tim indicates to basically all of Manji] alluring or are you more likely to pass out within a few feet?

Have you even showered since you reattached your arm?
canofmanji: (Something... something... witty keyword)

[personal profile] canofmanji 2019-02-23 07:00 am (UTC)(link)
Ha! You see kid! I'm less weird than you are!
permanentlyexhaustedbird: (notouchiebird)

[personal profile] permanentlyexhaustedbird 2019-02-23 12:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, now I feel insulted.

[He really hopes he doesn't smell anything like Manji]
