★ 1 | ACTION ★
Who: Bucky!Cap Barnes
Action: Throughout the Marsiva holding area
When: Feb 15-17-ish
[Bucky is new. He's new, and confused, and he figures the best way to get answers is to go find them. For better or worse, there's not a whole lot of space in which to find them, since he's limited to the same holding area as the rest of the passengers, but on the plus side, given that everyone else is confined to the same area, he's more likely to run into said passengers. When he spots someone who looks like they might be amenable to talking, he's very likely to approach.
For the most part, the faces are not familiar; he wanders the living area and the kitchen (where he's likely to stop and get some coffee, thank God that seems to exist here). He pokes his head into the bathroom and gym, too, and of course actually makes use of the former to take a shower on a regular basis. The gym he doesn't so much use as inspect and note; he's still too wary of where he is for anything resembling recreation, and thanks to the serum, he doesn't actually need to do much in the way of regular training to keep himself up. Maybe later.
Mostly, what will strike people is the fact that his face looks like the Bucky Barnes already on board, if you've managed to get a good look at that, but his hair is cropped short and his face is clean-shaven and his left arm is definitely not metal. All he's got to wear is the dark blue STRIKE uniform (sans helmet and shield) that looks - to some people, probably - like it should belong on Steve Rogers instead.]

[He flexes a skeletal-looking arm. No muscle in the form of metal but powerful nonetheless.]
This form does not require such methods to enhance strength - and back in my home world, such things would come naturally from hard work.

[Bucky raises one eyebrow, certainly looking impressed. He's always been at least a little technically minded, but yeah, this guy is definitely unlike anything he's ever seen.]
Same, really, [he says, after a moment - on both counts, for him, at least.] Are you just bored, then?
[He sure wouldn't blame the guy.]

[The gym was not a place he often visited but there were only so many places to explore.]
It is time they returned me to my rightful place in the galaxy.
[He'd only been here for a bit over a month and so he was still agitated about the 'kidnapping'. Even so, it had been something to at least have work rather than this strange event where everybody was together and away from their individual ships.]
no subject
And where is that? If you don't mind my asking.
[He knows he won't have heard of it, but he still wants to know.]

Bucky takes that in, admittedly trying to picture a war on what sounds like a pretty large scale. It's not as hard as it should be. "I get wanting to get back," he sympathizes. "I don't think whoever kidnapped us really cares that we have more important things to do.
"How long have you been at war?"
no subject
No, they do not care for our true duties, path or purpose. It is all a game to them, making us puppets in their show.
The war has been ongoing for about three standard years. Relatively brief compared to others I have known but it is far larger in scale to ones fought on my homeworld.

[But it's nice to see someone else isn't exactly taking it lying down, either.]
That's a long time, still. And - more than one planet's involved? [Excuse him while he works out just what that might look like.] Not gonna lie, that's kinda terrifying.

[He is intensely earnest in his speech.]
The Republic must be stopped. The Jedi must be put to an end. Their corruption and arrogance must go on no longer. The entire galaxy must be freed from their tyranny.
no subject
[Most. Not all.] But I get it.
Honestly, I can't imagine. That's a lotta planets. How do you get between 'em?
no subject
Are you that unfamiliar with space travel?
no subject
[Bucky looks chagrined.]
'Fraid I am. I've never done it. Before now, I guess.
I'd appreciate it if you wanted to fill me in.
no subject
But just know that it is a common practice on many planets and so travel from one to another is, for the most part, fairly simple. There are still areas of uncharted wild space but the known map is vast.

Don't suppose you're familiar with anywhere this fleet has taken you?
[He's assuming that's not the case, but - it still seems worth asking.

[Bucky nods.] I've heard things have been weird for a couple of weeks already. Maybe that's part of it.
Wonder if anyone's been keeping track of where the fleet has been.

Well, I'm willing to go look.
[Bucky smiles tightly.] And I know who to come to if I find anything.
[Guy seems like he'd be a good resource.]
Don't suppose you're familiar with boxing? It might keep you more interested than the weights, by the way.
