Right, I don't expect anyone to remember this - or remember anything about this because I have written to myself several times 'No one remembers!' and I have underlined this twice, so clearly this has happened for several days. No one will remember this either, but I will put this here for myself, and my journal notes.

There is something different with the tubes. When I open the Marvisa up, there is something different with the tubes. Some are a blue-green in color, and others are now ... black. They were not black last year, and now, I have no idea why they are.

I shall add this to my notes, and plans for future days. Whenever we are released from here I am going to be baffled by how much space I have used.

True, as have mine ...but I cannot help but wonder about the patterns. Can it truly be possible they have enough power to change entire planets to mock other ones?

All the more reason to keep journals like this, if you ask me.

I would say it is not only possible, but likely. The Atroma seem to be a terraformation company at their heart, which is quite literally the process of changing the surface of a planet to be more like a desired endpoint.

Do you think they have bought a number of planets, and then just terraformed them to their needs? We are not actually visiting new places but just a set of ... what is the phrase? Recycled worlds?

Yes and no. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of worlds we've visited were affected by their technology, but I would doubt we're visiting the same ones over and over again. There's no need, with the vastness of the universe. We could visit a new planet every month for decades, and not touch a bare fraction of the stars in a single arm of a spiral galaxy. If we're closer to a galactic center, as would be implied by the short distance between systems, it would be an even larger number of potential candidate worlds.

I suppose so ... although it unnerves me that they have such control in a galaxy as vast as you are describing. It concerns me that we may never be free of them and their machinations.

It's a valid concern.

However, we can do little of value unless we continue to gather information at every turn and take direct action when the opportunity arises.

My fondest wish is that one day, someone will tell me I am just being 'silly' for being so paranoid about these people.

I also cannot argue with that, in the slightest.

I'm certain you could get someone to tell you that, of course. But I trust what you mean is that you would believe it when they did.

Yes, that is it precisely. So far, I do not hold much hope for that particular dream ever coming true.

Perhaps some day, it will be.
