Right, I don't expect anyone to remember this - or remember anything about this because I have written to myself several times 'No one remembers!' and I have underlined this twice, so clearly this has happened for several days. No one will remember this either, but I will put this here for myself, and my journal notes.

There is something different with the tubes. When I open the Marvisa up, there is something different with the tubes. Some are a blue-green in color, and others are now ... black. They were not black last year, and now, I have no idea why they are.

[He exhaled, rubbing his bearded face.] I have no idea how we are getting answers from this, and I know I am writing this all down again.

Are we caring that he is purple? I certainly do not care that he is purple. I might have some interesting questions if he is striped purple though.

There are a few Galra in the Fleet. That's what they call his race. From my understanding, they're all purple. And big. And strong. My mind of people, basically.

[He frowns for a moment.]

...well she might not be. I am absolutely terrible keeping track of faces here now.

Oh! That's Krolia, I think. I haven't met her personally, but Kolivan has told me about his people here. They're all highly trained and capable. Worth having at your back in a fight.

Oh, no, well. Perhaps. I know the one I spoke to was Haggar. However there might be a Krolla as well.

Oh. Interesting. I don't know her.

Huh. I'll ask Kolivan about her.

You do not? Hm. Well, she is a bit of an odd one ... she has a cat. A rather grouchy cat, but still. A cat.

Is it an alien cat or a regular cat?

Oh, definitely an alien cat. There is no mistaking that cat for anything else.

It seems like most things with the Galra feel alien, but familiar at the same time.

I could quite honestly say that about every single person I have ever met here from a different world. [Tyrion mused.] Especially the people from your own, Cyril.

A good point. [He chuckles a bit] And you'd think I'd be less surprised when it keeps happening.
