Light it up like a fire in the night sky
[As promised, Zhade calls you. He calls on the secret network, and only briefly; he's surrounded by sparks and static as his fingers fly across the keyboard, though none of this is seen. It's an urgent audio message.]
I found them! Whatever you did-- it woke them up enough that I could find them. I'm breaking through as we speak. Once I get a lock on, we have a limited-- [BZZZZTTTTT-crackPOP] -- ignore that-- a limited amount of time. The Marsiva's defenses are about to come down. Distract Atroma, fire at will, and I'll bring them home safe.
You hear me?
Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven --
[There's the sound of a transporter firing up, and more furious typing and beeping from the consoles.]
Six! Five! Four! Three, two, ONE!
[And just like that, the invisible shields around the Marsiva fail. There's a frantic pause as Zhade checks to make sure everything's as it should be.]
Interceptors retrieved safely. Now light her up! You have just a few minutes, so go, go, go!
--------
(( ooc: This post is to serve as a "mingle" of sorts for any damage dealt to the Marsiva, any attempted investigations of the downed security, or any other coordination! Feel free to tag each other, play out any crew interactions related to the attack, or try to come up with your own plans! You ICly only have a few minutes, but OOCly the post will remain open. Hit 'em with your best shot, Fleet!! ))

Tyrion Lannister - First Breath
He was only going to get three shots -- and he needed to make them count. Calculations were put in, targets were locked, and he jammed his finger down on the button to shoot.]

Lup in her lich form is angry, electrified, and with the Imprisonment spell broken by their abrupt transport from ship to ship, she's glad for the distraction and for a target to aim her long-suppressed wrath. Damn the consequences, damn the backlash that might come from this. She needs to destroy something, and the ship of their captors is begging for it.
Upon reaching the Marsiva, she lifts a skeletal hand over her head and gestures downwards, and a collection of flaming meteors materialize from above and slam down upon the ship, pummeling a good eighty feet worth of its surface and leaving ugly dents and fractures in the hull. She doesn't stop there, already charging up her magic to fire off an arc of blue lightning that hits and splits off to strike multiple areas, charring the ship wherever it touches.
If all they have is a minute, that's nine or ten good spells she can get off, and she's making them count. As long as that shield is down, Lup is giving this her all.
Gods, but she's desperately needed this.]

Lightning coils and twists around him, building brighter and brighter until he unleashes it all with a scream of fury. An absolute barrage of lightning bolts slam into the Marsiva's hull, rippling outwards from where they strike. He doesn't stop there; loading up Stormbreaker with electricity, Thor flings the hammer towards the ship as well, feeling a savage burst of satisfaction when it actually hits its mark. The hammer jolts and returns to Thor's outstretched hand, before he wheels around and shoots off around the Marsiva to start attacking it again in another location.
From a distance Thor looks like a bright spark speeding around the hulking ship, flaring with immense arcs of lightning every time he stops that smash into the exposed hull. It's not what you'd usually associate with a cosmic storm... but right now that's exactly what Thor's bringing to bear on their captor's ship. The full weight of an angry weather god's power.]

While he's leery of hurting the potential consciousness inside, he also recognizes it as a unique opportunity, and knows they must awaken it somehow. Perhaps this can be the equivalent of slapping it awake. At the very least, he hopes to observe the rate at which the Marsiva repairs itself. At most, perhaps it can help give some insight into the ship's inner workings or keep the shield down....]

They were going to pay.]
Captain Looma! Commander Hux! Targets to lock onto?
[He had called Bucky to help pilot the ship but had no idea if he was there yet or not. Either way, he was at his station and getting every weapon they had on line.
This was something he was glad he knew how to do, he thought, as he aimed first where another ship was, and fired.]

He stands in front of the giant bridge window of the Blue Fish so he can have full view of the situation. He holds his arms out to his sides, fingers curled loosely about his palms. Purple lightning crackles wildly about them. His eyes burn so brightly they turn white instead of gold.
And then it happens. A ship-sized ball of arcane energy forms beside the Marsiva, wreathed in sparks and giving off great bolts of lightning. It's nowhere near the ships and in no danger of actually hurting one of them. However, it seems to be sucking in nearby debris. Belth pulls his hands back and then thrusts them forward, and this sends the arcane orb slamming into the side of the mother ship.
There's no discernible difference, not at first, but then the arcane lightning spreads across the side of the ship like the impact of a meteor. If nothing else, it's a good light show. And Belthazar is sure, absolutely sure, that it connected.
The spell fizzles out. The glow leaves his eyes and he collapses onto his knees, breathing heavily.]
