[Video/Action] Welcome to Walküre World~!
Who: Mikumo Guynemer and you! (Yes, even you!)
Broadcast: Oh yes
Action: Red Fish
When: 3/9
Action the Red Fish
[Finding herself on a strange ship would probably worry Mikumo, but... she's not really that kind of girl. Her life is just not normal. Besides, she has a feeling that she knows where she is. Sort of.
It's not either of the ships she was on the first time she was here, nor is it the big ship she spent a few days on before being moved. It's new, but the confetti and the faux-pudding cups are a clue. The idol just shakes her hair free of the brightly colored paper and starts to look around the ship.]
Hm, it looks as if someone let Messer decorate the walls. How interesting.
[As she walks down the halls, she trails a hand down the walls. Nothing comes away, but that doesn't mean she isn't a bit surprised.
She stops at a mess of paper that looks as if it is telling some secret to the many little dials around the ship and points when she sees one that leads to the residences.]
My, my. This would make visiting others so much easier.
Video
[Mikumo eventually ends up in her private room on the ship, the Red Fish and she pulls out her communicator. She waggles her fingers playfully before blowing a kiss at the screen.]
Well, hello, people of the Fleet. It's so lovely to be back here. Tell me, have I missed any venues? I see about this memory sharing thing that's happened again, but I suppose it's a good thing I missed that. I don't have many to share with you.

[Bucky does snort softly.] Yeah, this kinda decor does seem more suited to a ship called Bloodsport. Maybe they just took the "Red" in Red Fish a little too far.
[Not that he finds it particularly funny. He has seen enough blood - and skulls - to last him a lifetime.]
You've been here before?
no subject
Except the Bloodsport has these adorable little luminous fish lamps throughout the whole ship. It's rather pleasant, actually. And there are more red things in the universe than blood. Someone is unimaginative.
[She'd rather not talk about the last time she saw massive amounts of blood. Or how many times.]
Hm, yes. I was here for about six or so months at that time. I have a few friends from home that have been here much longer. [She pauses because she still hasn't checked the comms to make sure that Kaname, Messer and Freyja are in residence. It's something she'll do when she's alone.] Perhaps you've met them?
no subject
[Bucky frowns a little, because,] So we get the blood and they get the fish? Because that makes sense. [AKA, it does not make sense, but who knows. Alien kidnappers and all.
Besides, he is admittedly much more interested in how she got away from them the first time.] What changed? What happened, to send you home?
[Although he has to shake his head at the question, because,] I'm not sure. I honestly haven't met a whole lotta people yet. What're their names?
no subject
[Won't he be unhappy to learn that she has no idea.]
Who knows? Maybe my ratings dropped. [As if.] It's not as if the Atroma issued a pink slip before they sent me back. And I doubt they logged any notification with Kaname or Messer. They hardly seem the type.
no subject
Maybe not, [he agrees dryly.] I can say that I'm not really surprised the decor isn't high on their list of concerns.
[Unhappy, sure. Surprised, not really. He just nods.] Could be - back home, they kick people off the reality shows when they're not popular enough.
[He's been around in the 21st century long enough to know that, at least.] Kaname and Messer - those your friends? [The names don't sound familiar, but he can ask around.]
no subject
[If you're that unhappy, time to change things. Wallowing doesn't really help.]
Don't they know that popularity isn't everything? [But it is important, as she well knows with her own job back in the Globular system.]
Yes, they are. They were here the last time and they were pretty well-rooted. I hope that's still the case.
no subject
[Bucky tilts his head, looking around at said "decor."] Guess that's not a bad point. Maybe we could start with some bleach.
[Although these bloodstains may or may not come out...]
I think that's something only the people who aren't popular know, [he points out, maybe a little wryly. Of course, a little popularity can go a long way, but no. It isn't everything. And sometimes it's a bad thing.
He nods.] I haven't heard the names, but that doesn't mean anything. Guess you could try giving 'em a call - which you probably know. I think at this point, I'm still more new than you are, if you've been here before.
Can I ask where you're from?
no subject
[She huffs out a little laugh.]
You know, I am popular back in my own galaxy. If they don't like me here, perhaps they should stop kidnapping me.
Where I'm from... That's such a loaded question from a stranger. Aren't you going to offer your name before asking intimate questions?
no subject
I've heard, [Bucky agrees. Saving up money to make his living space better hasn't always been a priority... but then again, if food and other things are readily available here, it's not an impossibility, either.] Although a prison's still a prison, no matter how you paint - or bleach - it, [he points out, quietly.]
[Then he ends up looking sheepish, because - geez. He didn't introduce himself, did he. It's gotten to be a bad habit - being recognized. And it hasn't even been one he's liked. I guess I'm a little used to being recognized, but I've only ever lived on the one planet, which suddenly feels pretty small.
So he offers his hand.] I'm sorry about that. It is rude - I'm Bucky Barnes. From New York City - on Earth - if that helps at all.
no subject
[At least death is reversible here, from what she's heard.
She gives him a teasing smile as he holds out his hand and takes it in a firm handshake.]
Mikumo Guynemer, from Ragna in the Globular System. However, I have heard of Earth and New York City, even if I've never been to either.
no subject
Though you've got a leg-up on me, then - I'm sorry, I definitely haven't heard of those.
[But they kinda sound pretty interesting, he's got to admit.] What's it like?
no subject
Well.... Ragna is a very water-based planet. Most of the natives have gills and webbed hands. There are mercats that are awfully adorable. It's very warm and tropical. Sort of.... like an island chain, since most of the residences can be used as boats as well?
The Globular System is just a space system that holds a great deal of planets that are home to Protoculture descendants. It's more than a few light years from Earth's Solar System.
no subject
[It seriously all sounds like science fiction - but then again, so does a lot of his life, including standing right here on this ship.] So you've been to a lot of planets, then?
no subject
Back home, I've been on all the planets that are habitable as part of my job. Here before? I've been to a few, but not as many as most.

Intergalactic idol.
[Were you thinking of something else?]

[Who's she kidding? She loves it. So, so much.]
I could explain it to you, but isn't it always more fun to see it in action? THe show we put on is out of this world. Literally!
no subject
I'll bet.
[Bucky considers this, grinning a little.] You offering a preview?
[AKA yes, he would like to see.]
no subject
[It's not hyperbole, thanks.]
Besides, if there's a chance on any planet, I will take it.
no subject
I'll keep that in mind. I'd like to hear, sometime.
D'you have an augment? In addition to your natural talent, I mean.
no subject
[She laughs a bit to prove that she's joking. She's not really that egotistical.]
But, from what I understand, I have a Lab Support Augment this time. The last was Communications. I think the Atroma are trying to tell me something with these things.
no subject
[He smiles, definitely getting that it's a joke. He'd probably make the same one.] I'm sure.
Oh yeah? Think you should've gone into science or engineering, instead?
no subject
No, not at all! I'm called the Mysterious Venus back home because I don't answer questions. And I do heal people, but that's only part of what I do. Now, it's my actual job if I go by my augment. I think the Atroma think they're clever.
no subject
[AKA, not really funny, but what can you do.]
At least you've got some experience, right?
