[Finding herself on a strange ship would probably worry Mikumo, but... she's not really that kind of girl. Her life is just not normal. Besides, she has a feeling that she knows where she is. Sort of.

It's not either of the ships she was on the first time she was here, nor is it the big ship she spent a few days on before being moved. It's new, but the confetti and the faux-pudding cups are a clue. The idol just shakes her hair free of the brightly colored paper and starts to look around the ship.]

Hm, it looks as if someone let Messer decorate the walls. How interesting.

[As she walks down the halls, she trails a hand down the walls. Nothing comes away, but that doesn't mean she isn't a bit surprised.

She stops at a mess of paper that looks as if it is telling some secret to the many little dials around the ship and points when she sees one that leads to the residences.]

My, my. This would make visiting others so much easier.

[Mikumo eventually ends up in her private room on the ship, the Red Fish and she pulls out her communicator. She waggles her fingers playfully before blowing a kiss at the screen.]

Well, hello, people of the Fleet. It's so lovely to be back here. Tell me, have I missed any venues? I see about this memory sharing thing that's happened again, but I suppose it's a good thing I missed that. I don't have many to share with you.

That's fine. It's not as if I was here to fight you on wearing my things without returning them.

[She's actually serious about that for a change.]

But, the first opportunity we get, you're getting your own things, whether it's a planet or a space station along the way.

Believe me, there's nothing I want more. No offense.

[It's hard to find clothes Mirage considers adequately covering everything that needs it.]

Hm, I don't know if I should say "none taken". There is absolutely nothing wrong with my sense of fashion, I'll have you know.

[Mirage is a fuddy-duddy and needs to lighten up like a million levels. She's too damn serious for her age.]

There isn't, it's simply a manner of difference in taste.

[She likes to keep mostly covered up, thanks. Some of us don't take to walking around raving starkers in the moonlight.]

A difference in taste, hm? I suppose that will have to suffice.

That sounds vaguely threatening, you know.

How do you know it's not a threat? I plan on making you have fun.

I'm not really threatened by having fun though. I've had fun before.

[The clothing thing on the other hand...]

I've yet to see it. I will need empirical evidence of you having fun.

[And the clothing trip won't be scary. Stop being such a worrywart.]

There was Freyja's birthday party. That was fun.

[And then Freyja and Hayate made eyes at each and it wasn't so fun but whatever.

She'll stop breathing before she stops worrying.]

Yes, that was rather fun. Wasn't it?

[Especially considering it was the first party she'd ever attended for someone else's birthday. It's also the first time she'd ever considered her own "birth".

No doubt that Mirage will probably stroke out before she's thirty. And then where will Hayate be?]

It was. Everyone really pitched in together. I'd never helped plan a party like that before.

[He'll be with Freyja of course, c'mon now. Or... well, maybe not with her but... that's real depressing.]

That was the first party I'd attended.

[But, then again, Mirage knew that as well.

Ah, that's right. Did you go to any here the first time you were here?

I was here long enough to have a birthday party thrown for me by Kaname and Messer.

There was a strange, but delicious, cake. And presents.

What was so strange about it?

Well... From what I understand, Messer and Kaname had to barter for some unusual ingredients to get it made. Plus, did you know that Messer bakes?

No, not at all.

[ikenai]

Evidently, he does. And he's not half bad at it. It totally doesn't fit with his stoic, yet sentimental facade.

[nomirage]

[Mirage huffs a lightly amused breath.]

Some people have secret talents, I guess.

[ikenai]

And I'll be happy to learn yours as well.

[And not because she'll use it against her either. That's a bit low, especially for her.]

And Kaname's and Prompto's and anyone else's. Hidden talents should be nurtured, right?

Definitely. Honestly I'll be surprised to learn mine as well.

[What sort of hidden talents could Mikumo have, she wonders.]

Are you afraid that you might not have any? I think everyone does, so you don't have to worry about that.

[She has hidden talents oozing out of every pore, okay.]

[... Is she? Hm.]

I don't think so? I mean... if I don't have any, I don't. I can't really change anything in that case. I can develop talents though.
