Lily #1 (Intro)
Who: Rose and You!
Broadcast: Yes!
Action: Marsiva Hospitality Deck.
When: April 1st.
[Waking Up]
[When Rose wakes up on the Marsiva, it takes a moment for her to come to her senses. The last memory she has is of a splitting headache, reaching for her friend across a battlefield...]
[...And then waking up on the hospitality deck of the Marsiva. It takes a moment for the gears to click, and things to fall into place, but once they do, everything comes back at once. It should be enough to give her another headache, except for right now, she has more on her mind.]
[Rose is not someone known for being calm, but now it's apparent that she's angry. She's angry in a way that she hasn't been in a very, very long time. She knows she's being filmed, so she's gonna try to address the Atroma directly.]
Oh, for the love of...I demand you send me back, this instant. I don't have time to waste here.
[Addressing the Fleet]
[Of course, that doesn't work. She hadn't really expected it to, but there was always a chance.]
[She has no choice but to wait for the shuffle, so while she's waiting, she'll send a text out to the Fleet. There's not much else she can do in this metal prison, after all.]

I suppose I'm stuck here again. Have things improved? Or are the Atroma as awful as always?

Oh, I'm under no delusions what may happen in my absence. But last time, fighting the Atroma did little good, and no time was lost before returning home.
[As much as she wants to return to help her friends, she's also not very confident on their chances against Garlemald. The more she thinks about it, this sojourn may be a blessing in disguise.]
I go by Rose. I was here one before, but that was many moons ago.

[He can only think of his adoptive siblings, really, and how the world is probably ending without him there.]
Belthazar Anor'thalion. A pleasure.

That is all well and good, but remember to be cautious. If you manage to get yourself killed, you won't end up growing up anywhere at all.
[Or you will, because death doesn't exist here, but it will be very unpleasant.]

I know. I have a lot of people depending on me. That's exactly why I can't give up. This is years of research I'm talking about; I've compiled what I've learned from watching other mages from other universes in the hopes of finding that common denominator.
If you've fought for this long and you're tired, then rest. There are others who will stand when you cannot, at least here.
no subject
Yes, there are others here to fight, and for that I am grateful.
If it's magic research you're interested in, I may be able to help. I practice healing magics.

The biggest issue with the spell (besides the aforementioned gaps in otherworldly knowledge) is how much energy it consumes. To that end, I have external energy sources that will fuel the ritual, but the particular way that energy flows throughout the body is outside my realm of expertise.
To be frank, my magic works here but I have no idea why.
no subject
I cannot say I know much about arcane energy or portal manipulation, no.
My magic draws the energy from any nearby spirits and channels them through the user. If that is what you are looking for.

I'm not sure about spirits, exactly, but there's...something. At least on the worlds we visit.

I'll have to take a closer look when we find the next planet.
