[ There's not really enough warning to let Natasha know he won't be alone for their morning lesson, so he hopes she's at least willing to give him a pass this time. It was a little difficult to explain to Aaron just what they were doing, and he's not even sure what Aaron's level of skill is, but there's no way he's on par with her.

Pretty sure the only one that would come close was Jesus.

Still, when he strolls into the gym with Aaron in tow, he offers her an apology. ]

Hey, Natasha. Sorry I'm late. I hope it's okay that I brought a friend.

[ He half turns to Aaron, gesturing to her. ]

Aaron, this is Natasha. Natasha, this is Aaron.

Oh, so this is what you were thinking? [Natasha cocks an eyebrow. She's not going to tell him no if she has a friend who needs some help with his hand to hand.] You know you've managed to surprise me. Not what I expected.

But I can handle both of you.

[Was this Carl's intention all along? He had mentioned his clothes...]

Guns are loud. [He nods, though.] Do you know Keith? I've been learning a few things with him. Nothing major. Really just how to break holds, things like that? Important things to know when you're fighting things-people who fight back.

[He clears his throat.] Just, uh, give me a second to get ready. You guys can go ahead.

[And he moves off to a bench along the side, taking off the new pack he now always carries with him, and untucking his shirt. Button downs are nice to keep you warm in space, but they weren't good to fight in.]

[ It wasn't really his intention, Aaron just happened to be there, and Natasha is kind of awesome, so.. it worked out. ] It wasn't planned, but no time like the present, right? [ One he's ready, he moves toward Natasha, stretching. ] Since there's two of us, what should we work on?

[Natasha shrugs, an expression as much with her face as her shoulders this time, head tilting to one side.]

How about if the two of you show me what you know?

[Can Natasha take both of them? Without breaking a sweat. No offense.]

After I see what you can do together, we can focus on what needs work.

[What Aaron 'knew' amounted to 'hold something back while you stab it in the head' which, in retrospect, is probably not the most comprehensive set of skills. He comes back over to the two of them, nodding though it's obvious he's a little uncertain.]

Okay, I...think we can handle that.

[And he looks over to Carl. We can handle this, right?]
