In the background, there's a lot of nature, tall pine trees, and lots of forests. He was recording himself and then entered the lodge and the background changes, and eventually, the man is having lunch in the lounge area of the rustic pine lodge.]

Hello everyone, Abel Nightroad reporting. I was taking a hike through the forest and taken a lot of pictures during my stay here. Who knew that I get the chance of exploring new worlds in solar systems beyond what I know? And this one has some civilization...if I can call it that.

I went sight-seeing and took a lot of pictures. I don't have much luck finding those creatures of legends that the locals are talking about. I didn't go hunting for them, but rather I try to catch photos of them. It's hard to tell because they ran so fast, that it's impossible for me to capture a good picture.

Does anyone has any luck seeing those creatures? How was your stay on this planet? Did you find anything interesting?

Anyway, I can't wait to go back to the ship again and write in my journal of my findings and my journey on this planet.

Sure, my husband and I ran into a few of them. He took pictures and I did some sketches.

What kind of creatures you managed to catch?

Husband? I remembered you mentioned a fiancé once. Did you get married recently?

We didn't catch any. We were just there to observe. We got a really good look at the Pine Demon, and also saw Slim Jim, though there was fog in the way.

Yeah, we got married on the planet a few days ago.

Same. I was looking for the snowy kong and the woods ape. Not much of luck. The both of you had luck on your side then.

Oh you did? I'm so happy for the both of you! Congratulations! I'm sorry I missed it, but the wedding must be beautiful I imagine!

[jolting]

Thank you. I'm sure James will show off the pictures later.

Might I read your findings when you have finished writing them?

Greetings captain. Of course. As soon as I returned to the ship, I'll make a report of my findings.

Thank you. Though, this is really only for my own curiosity. This isn't an official request.

Curiosity? Do you mean the cryptids or the town? I took notes of some and the shops I visited. While I think this civilization is fascinating, it's pretty rural and rustic to me.

Anyway, just give a few more days to see if I can find anything interesting and then I'll return to the ship.

Both really. I like to hear about things through the eyes of others. You can learn so much about a world by knowing what others have witnessed. It would please this father to know what you have seen.

I saw a few of the cryptids, actually. My husband and I decided to make a list and tick off as many of the creatures as we could. But we didn't try to hunt them or anything, we just hid around and tried to get some pictures of them.

Some of them were easier to find than others.

You made a list? Lucky you, I didn't have much luck. But then again, my age caught up to me, so I was long-winded from all of this hiking and looking for them in the wildest places. I enjoyed the nature and scenery, at least. My pictures came out all wrong and fuzzy. At least, I tried.

It was a fun hunt while it lasted. What did you find?

Yeah. We both like this kind of stuff, so this was pretty perfect. Not all of my pictures came out alright, but Victor's sketches look amazing.

We ran into a pines demon first, then we caught a glimpse of a slim Jim. Then a bowel crocodile-- though that one just looked like a giant crocodile. Not particularly unique, honestly. And we caught a glimpse of a lightningbeak from our bedroom window, later in the night.

I have a few more days to try my luck and take a photo of these creatures. If only they can stand still and make a pose, at least long enough for me to take it!

Oh, Mr. Victor was your husband? Did you two recently got married? Congratulations.

They don't tend to stay still for very long, I'm sorry to say. But if you're quick, you might get a few good shots in before they flee.

[ Jim perked up with a smile, nodding. ] He is, and we did. Thank you. Are you friends with him?

I only knew of Mr. Victor as an acquaintance. I was new and then become a part of a crew on SS Caprine for a month. So I'm settling in, trying to get to know people and gathering experience.

I mean, I'm trying to get used to the idea of being a star on an Intergalactic reality t.v space show.

Oh, you should've come to the wedding, then. We don't have a lot of close friends here yet, so we pretty much just invited everyone.

[ Jim chuckles. ] Yeah, I think it's weird for all of us. Luckily it's not very noticeable. You can mostly live your life without anyone bothering you too much.

Ah, my apologies that I missed it. I would have come if someone invited me! But I wasn't informed. I was exploring the wilderness to take pictures and make videos at the time.

But say if you have made pictures or recorded videos of the wedding and if you would like to share, that is to say, if you want to, I'll be happy to see it.

That's alright. We did try to send out invites to everyone on the Fleet, but it was really short notice. Some people just seemed to be busy exploring this planet, like you.

Yeah, we do have a lot of those. Both Victor and I enjoy making videos and taking pictures, so we made sure to save all these memories. Plus, I need some kind of proof that I really got married if any of my friends ever show up here.
