Who: Kitty Pryde (Blue), Tyrion Lannister (Red), and YOU!
Broadcast: Video
Action: Málum
When: Now

[Kitty is holding his communicator outstretched so it can better fit her and Tyrion into the frame.]

So, with Crowley leaving awhile ago and various other employees disappearing on us we realized we’re the only ones working at the Málum which doesn’t really work for us because we have lives.

As amusing as it might sound for me to live in this particular bar, considering my ... vast love for wine and varying other liquors. [Tyrion smirks faintly into the communicator.] As it stands, two people cannot run a place like this properly. Ergo, we need more people.

That’s where you come in. Now hiring, well, everything. Bartenders, chefs, maintenance, maybe entertainment? [She looks at Tyrion.] Think we need a bouncer? I mean, for shifts I’m not on. Anything else?

[Tyrion mused for a moment, before he smiled once more.] Must be willing to deal with our rather upscale environment. No shoes, no shirt, no employment. We serve everyone but we are ...what is that word? Classy.

I’m personally open to negotiation on the shirts depending on who you are. [Smiling.] Hit us up.

(OOC: One or both of them will reply/interview you!)

[ It's more curiosity than anything else. Or at least that's what he'll claim. ]

What's involved in the bouncer position?

Making sure nothing drastic happens. Keeping people safe. We haven't had much in the way of problems in that area, but things can be tense here. Drinking doesn't always make that better. Or it could be the occasional external threat.

[ He thinks that over for a minute, idly rubbing one palm against his beard. ]

How long would the shifts be?

[Did someone mention EMPLOYMENT?! Because here's Peter eyeing his communicator thoughtfully. You know, like he wouldn't just jump at any opportunity to make some extra credits.]

I could probably handle the maintenance stuff. And help out on the bouncer front I guess, but do you guys really need one?

I didn't think any of us ever risked stirring up trouble.

Not more than eight hours for something like that. Probably less and it'd be flexible. Some of it might depend on how many people we hire. It's possible we don't have a really clear and deliberate business plan, but I think Crowley would have wanted it that way. [It's also possible she and Tyrion aren't going to agree on all these things, but they'll figure it out, right?]
wallcrawler: (p3)

[personal profile] wallcrawler 2019-04-10 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
...and are you doing anything that would give someone that idea?

[Because really, he'd be foolish not to ask at this point.]

Alright, that sounds. Uh. Reasonable. [ For a loose definition of reasonable, anyway. His last employment opportunity didn't have much flexibility at all, at least outside mission parameters. But not having anything to do but perform for an invisible audience -- if they even exist -- is wearing on his nerves. ]

When should I come apply?

You don't need. You got the job. [Should she be checking with Tyrion first?]

[What an utterly alien problem that he can in no way empathize with. Truly.]

Ah. That'll do it, yeah. But I guess so long as you're not going out of your way to make someone want to throw a punch, that's fine.

So what would the maintenance end of things entail? Just cleaning up, or something else?

What would that application even be? Fighting me? I mean as fun as that sounds, I'm guessing you can handle yourself. You've got that vibe. [And also you're Steve Rogers. Even if you aren't the one she knows.] And firing is always an option if it doesn't work out.

The application for maintenance with a side of bouncer is making it through a shift without being the one to punch Tyrion.

[If Tyrion can play so can she.]

[personal profile] wallcrawler 2019-04-10 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
Sounds easy enough. I don't have the engineer augment, but I tinkered around enough back home that I should be able to pick things up quick enough. Especially if there's someone with one to walk me through anything too complex.

[But he should probably get something else out of the way now, too.]

Any chance I'd be able to get a situational exemption from that shoes rule? Not all the time, just for whenever you'd need me handling anything off the ground.

[personal profile] wallcrawler 2019-04-10 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
Did the other Me ever tell you about Jameson? Because if that guy can go un-punched, I think I can handle Mister Tyrion.

Sounds great! So, do you think I could come down now, to get a better idea of everything you'd want done?

Or is employment actually dependentl on just being there and not punching you for eight hours?

[He's like 98% sure Kitty was joking there, but it never hurt to double check, right?]

Well, we're a nightclub. I was kind of thinking live music or dancing? But it wouldn't have to be limited to that. If it's a juggling act or something that might not be the best fit. [But it would amuse her.]

Jameson? No, I don't think so. [She smiles a little.] But yeah, I think you can too. [She really feels no need to punch her friend either. She just wanted to sass him from a distance.]

I can't say that I've ever performed music in front of a crowd, though I sincerely doubt this lot is much into the lute. I do dance, however, but I will admit it's been years.

We could always give it a try? Earlier in the evening I think people just want to drink and talk. Lute music could be good for that.

And you should never wait years to dance just on principle. I have a dance studio too you know.
