[ If you're looking for this former star-spangled menace, he can generally be found one of two places. On the Heron, attending to his ship responsibilities, or on the Iskaulit, tentatively settling in with newer responsibilities. He can often be found in the gym, preferably at odd hours, and it's not inconceivable he might wander into the art therapy room to see what it's all about. ]

As far as I'm able to remember, yes.

[Her tone is genuine, despite how else that comment could come off. She doesn't know if she had a different name before she was adopted, but if so, it doesn't personally hold any meaning to her. Leia Organa is who she is and all she cares to be.]

Then you should probably keep it. [ Nevermind that she already said it. ] I had one for a long time, but then I was given another, and have had it even longer.

[ there's a lot of conflicting information inside his head, but the opinions of other people are helping at least categorize some of it. ] Would you mind if I asked what the significance is?

Which name do you feel more strongly about?

[Not that she has much perspective there, but it seems a fair question to ask.

She pauses for a moment, deciding on just how she wants to phrase her answer here.]

I'm the last person with my family name, one of the elder noble houses in the galaxy I'm from.

I really don't like the second one I was given. [ since it made him a thing, a possession, instead of a person. ] But I'm not sure I deserve to have the old one back.

[ He tilts his head, watching her through the feed. When he speaks, his tone is softer. ]

That's a good reason not to change it, then.

I don't know that a name is something you can not deserve to have if it was, at one point, yours to begin with. If it's the one you prefer, it's still your name.

[There's something more behind all his explanation, she's sure, because nothing like that would come without a troubled history, but she doubts it's her place to pry.]

I'd like to think so. Something to remember those who are gone, and perhaps inspire survivors to continue moving forward.

I don't know what my preferences are yet, ma'am. That's what I'm working on finding out.

[ definitely a troubled past. but maybe not so much as leia herself, even if he isn't aware of that. ]

Heard inspirational folks are a good thing to have. Are you one of that kind?

[Ma'am is too formal, and formality is something she enjoys not having to deal with here, unlike back home.]

And most of the time, it's not my main goal, but if it happens as a result, I don't think it's anything to complain about.
