[Thor hadn't walked in with much of a plan, in all honesty. Some of his older shirts were getting threadbare though and this was the best kind of planet to resupply on.]

Later I will be collecting things for the ship as a whole. This is just for me though.

You should perhaps seek out clothing made with more durable materials. As much as that seems less common from these stores.

Well, I have armour, so there is that. I do agree that the clothing most places sell is lacking in strength.

Provisions mostly. I always try to stock up on food that will not spoil during the drifting periods.

Armour seems more suitable for you.

[It's fairly easy to tell he's more of a warrior type, powerful god that he is. That's something she's more familiar with, as opposed to the slight change of subject.]

Perhaps Taako or Lup may be willing to assist, in regard to food. They are knowledgeable about such things.

It is but I never need to purchase that. I can summon it when I choose.

[And redesign it whenever he wants, too. Thor's never at a loss when it comes to battle attire.]

Oh, hm, that's true. I mostly buy basics. Though I could check with the new chef on board the Blue Fish, see what he wants.

[He shrugs, pulling out a grey sweater. It's not too bad. He fiddles with the pricetag before looking back to Haggar.]

But on our stops I can at least live elsewhere for a time.

[Of seeing a situation he could not do much to change constantly taunting him, even with his own ship as a charge.

She glances to his choice in sweater.]

[Glancing at Haggar, he gives the sweater a closer look before tugging a bit harder on the sleeve. The move is followed by the unfortunate sound of threads tearing-- oops. Thor stares at the sweater for an awkward minute before just gently placing it back on the rack.]

Nope. No. Doesn't look like it. Hey, let's look over there instead!

[And with that he starts making shooing gestures with his hands at Haggar, trying to ferry her off in another direction away from the scene of his crime.]

[Thor earns a slightly quirked eyebrow, though she moves with him at his indication. His clear lack of finesse in trying to shoo them away from the unfortunate incident is... oddly charming, in its own way, almost a familiar way--it says much about his straightforward personality.]

This section does not seem to lend much toward... functionality.

[Especially if the stupid things are going to break at the slightest provocation. How does anyone get any wear out of these clothes? Satisfied that Haggar is moving, he starts walking more casually.]

But I like to have some things that aren't for battle, you know? It's not as though I'm in many fights here.

What you want is something durable but not... unflattering.

[She glances down the racks, with an almost critical look.]

It may be that you require another establishment altogether, in that case.

This one does seem ... bad.

[If this pink mesh singlet is anything to go by. Thor picks it up, looking straight through the sizeable holes, and tosses it back onto the rack without hanging it properly.]

Have you seen any others with better wares?

The wares on previous systems seemed more... satisfactory in what they provided than what can be found here, although I admit I have not browsed through many of them. Not with that specific goal in mind, anyway.

Oh, that place was much more about things that were actually useful.

[He agrees on that front. Trouble was, he wasn't in the mood to really shop much while they were there. Here, he's a bit more removed from his own dark moods and better able to distract himself.]

Here it's all about looks. Unless it's a blade, where they do seem to value their craftsmanship highly.

It is possible that the majority of their offered garments may be less durable because of how far removed they are from anything needing to be heavier.

[Which wasn't exactly practical for visitors expected to take care of things on the surface for them.]

But perhaps it's only to increase the challenge of searching.

If they do, they have done a good job in keeping themselves hidden. Though they do seem more receptive to interplanetary travelers than one would expect.

[She nods, following his direction. Though a flicker of amusement does cross her features.]

Perhaps he has learned a lesson from that.

[It's more likely that there are a small gaggle of guards attempting to wield it and struggling in their confusion, at this point.]

[True enough, one other guard is now trying to pick up the handle while the original one looks on. They both jump back skittishly when Thor approaches, only to stare outright when he picks up the axe with one hand and swings it up onto his shoulder.

He doesn't bother saying anything to them, just walks straight out the door. Thor does however speak to Haggar once they're on the street.]

How are you finding this world? It is certainly more lively than the last one.
