I cannot change the fundamental properties of raw arcane energy. That's why it's raw, and needs to be transformed into something more stable. It occurs naturally in nature this way and that's why leylines are a particular sort of trouble if one wanders into them without knowing what they're doing.

[He shuts the lid on his basket. There's a bit too much herbs in there but he doesn't care. He just rearranges them so they won't fall out.]

... I've never had the talent for healing magic. If I did, I wouldn't be spending my time digging in the dirt for potion reagents.

I wanted at least one of each kind of plant here. I don't expect any of it to keep its glow, especially if the source is that lake over there, but I want to see if it can absorb magical properties later on. There's a large greenhouse on the Iskaulit that I've been growing herbs in for a while.

[He starts leading her... somewhere, still in the vicinity of the glowing grove. There's something of a footpath if you look closely.]

I don't have any experience with alchemy, but I have plenty working with plants. I would be happy to help you tend to any herbs or plants you might acquire.
