[ The feed flicks on and he is upside down, giving the thing the same sort of look someone would give a person who turned out to have two extra heads talking in tongues. Or if those two heads were actually snakes, or dragons. Michael turns it until he appears on an angle, then shakes it, disrupting the feed with a few erratic shakes. ]

It's broken. [ He announces to practically no one, his voice is rough - gravely - as if he hasn't been using it for a while. ] This is fucking stupid. Send me back I'd rather deal with the bullshit tower and dumb robots. I had a comfy bed there, and a room, and people that didn't smell like shit. Or rotting bodies.

[ Last he remembers Robin's still there, along with all some other people he can't be bothered remembering the names of (Tabby, he remembers Tabby at least). He'll be pissed if he disappears again. Michael scoffs, leaning back and lifting the camera above his head. ]

This place also looks like shit. Couldn't kill you to add a few more colors in here or something, my damn eyes feel like they're gonna melt.

[ Michael barely moves, barely reacts, save for a sparing glance at the kid who suddenly appeared by his side. When did he do that? He thought he was alone on this damn ship.

Eyes narrow into slits, mouth twisting into a weird hybrid of a frown and confusion. ]

[He draws that out the slightest bit like he's playing, shoving both hands in his pockets and rolling back on his heels.]

I meant the reason we're here in the first place. They're pretty good, grabbing me without my noticing...

[ He shrugs, leaning back on the seat he decided to claim for himself. It's his now. Maybe he can throw it at a window and break it, get out of here quicker and find Robin.

The thought of him makes his stomach sink like a stone and anger to rise in his throat. Stop thinking about him. ]

[Rude! Though Killua is getting all up in his business out of nowhere, here... He still makes a face.]

[ His shoulders slump, head rolling to the side. ]

Yeah. [ He lowers his communicator, tapping it idly between his fingers. ] I hate it when it's quiet.

[There's something about this guy that's familiar in a way he can't put his fingers on. But he knows it's unsettling to watch someone look so... out of it? Sad? Lost in thought? He's not sure what it is.

Before, he's sure he would have just walked away. Now, he sort of leans closer, curling his fingers from inside his pockets.]

Do you wanna do something? This place is pretty big... I was going to take a look around. [He's... nervous in a way. He's never made friends outside of Gon, but he still wants to try.]

[ Instinct is to say no, deny the kid and shoo him away but he's tense, on edge. Needs something to take his mind of Robin, off the way the asshole is underneath his skin and clawing at his mind. ]

Sure. [ Better than sitting here with nothing but his own thoughts. ]

[It's a start. Gon would handle this a lot better, he thinks. Be cheerful and initiate conversation smoother. But Killua just starts moving, and after a minute of silence, he breaks it with a glance over and a question.]

[ He shifts, untangling long legs to push himself up into standing - yawning as he stretches out his limbs. ]

I'm Killua.

[Managing a small smile, he ducks a little as he walks, facing Michael.]

You were saying something about a tower, right? Was the place you came from that bad, too?

[ He repeats, testing the name on his tongue. Eh, not bad.]

It was alright. Kinda weird. Wasn't in space.

[He doesn't really get a picture from that, but.]

What about the robots?

[ He shrugs, shoving his hands into his pockets. ]

They were like servants.

[Imagining his butlers as robots... Cool.]

[ OKAY THAT IS TOO MUCH ENTHUSIASM AT ONE TIME. ]

No. They just acted like servants, getting people stuff or cleaning.

[HE IS a fan of robots a little okay. He deflates noticeably at that.]

That sounds lame... Wasn't there anything fun to do? If it was a tower you lived in, it had to be kinda cool.

Not really, there were a few people there I liked to be around. A lot of the exciting stuff happened when I was asleep.
