Who: Lunafreya Nox Fleuret and YOOOU.
Broadcast: Yes; Fleet wide.
Action: No.
When: 5/16.
[ This is not a place Luna expected to be back in, and yet fate has once again intervened and she finds herself in familiar territory. Granted, she's stuck on the Marsiva and she knows that she's going to be here for the next few days, but that isn't going to stop her from letting her presence be known. She doesn't know who is here now; if her friends and extended family from her previous stay still remain or not, but there is only one way to find out.
The view starts out a bit shaky as she adjusts her communicator, apparently trying to prop it up, until the video feed focuses in on Lunafreya as she moves to stand in focus. She offers a small, polite bow of greeting that may be familiar to those who remember her from before, and when she straightens, a small smile pulls at her lips. ]
Good day to everyone. My name is Lunafreya Nox Fleuret, and I have been here before. Granted, I know not how many moons have passed since the last I was here, but I was wondering just whom here from my own world remains, and if there was anyone still here with whom I was fortunate enough to forge a friendship with before. Regardless, I am pleased to meet everyone once more, and I pray that we are all able to work together in harmony and get to know one another again. Thank you so much for your time.
[ Luna bows once more, and the feed cuts. All that's left now is to wander the Marsiva and hope that someone out there will respond. ]

video;
Lunafreya was it? That's...a beautiful name. I'm Aaron. It's nice to meet you.
video;
Thank you so much. You've a beautiful name as well, Aaron. It is a pleasure to meet you as well... how long have you been within the Fleet?
video;
It's a pretty common name where I come from, but thanks...and it's been about six months I think?
video;
Even so, I think it is an absolutely lovely name. Six months... that's a significant amount of time. Indeed, you've probably seen many things and had quite a few adventures. I hope that your time here has been a pleasant one. The last time I was here, we entered a system and ended up on a planet full of cannibals.
video;
video;
video;
It's...pretty bad when cannibals don't rate that high on the scale.
video;
video;
I'm glad things weren't all bad for you.
video;
Thank you. I was one of the more fortunate ones.
SLAMS IN HERE; voice
Normally, when he checks for broadcasts, he turns it on and lets it run as background noise, but this time he's listening to her message like he'll only get to hear it once. Whether she was here before or not doesn't matter, because he wasn't, and to him she's been gone for months.
There's about four hundred things he wants to say to her. Half of them aren't anything he wants to say over a public network, and at least a quarter of them sound stupid in his head. Is she okay? When did she get back?
Would she care if he wasn't the same Noctis she would know? Questions could wait, so for now, he finds the record button and:]
H-hey, welcome back.
[Nailed it.]
AAAAAAAY; voice
Of course, it does hit her that this could, in fact, not be the Noctis she knew from before or even from home. The way he says 'welcome back' makes her want to believe it is, and yet... well. She'll have to find that out on her own a bit later. ]
Noctis, it is so good to hear your voice. Thank you very much.
[ ...why is this just set to voice and not video? ]
How are you, dear Noctis?
[ This is a good start, at least, to gently figuring out if he recalls anything from her previous stay. ]
no subject
[Voice is simply the reply format he uses most often, since video doesn't really do anything for him, and it's the quickest way to reply to anything.]
I'm...I'm well. I could be better, but 'better' is pretty far out of my control right now. Are you alright? Are you on the Marsiva or have you been assigned a ship yet?
[A smaller ship, anyway.]
no subject
[ Even though she's been with him at home. Ten years in the future after the return of the Dawn, at least, in the most bittersweet way possible. Noct's words have her frowning just the slightest bit. 'I could be better' could mean a lot of things, but it's only natural for Lunafreya to worry. ]
What do you mean? Are you ill? I am fine, yes, thank you, and I am still on the Marsiva. I am looking forward to being able to see you in person, mostly. How have things been for you here?
no subject
[The feed is still on voice, but he's switching it to video. The transition takes a few seconds, and the picture on the screen does show Noctis looking relatively healthy as he said, though his blue eyes are unusually clouded over and there's scarring surrounding them and part of the upper part of his face. He's hoping that much speaks mostly for itself.]
Changed it to video....I think. Can you see me?
[He gives a small wave to test. It's not as good as in-person, but it's close.]
no subject
[ Hear, and now, see. Because as soon as that video feed pops up she's got a visual of what he's talking about. The visual nearly knocks the wind out of her because his wounds are a familiar sight, yes, but not on him. His usually bright blue eyes are unseeing, and it clicks almost instantly.
Noctis is blind.
It's a good thing he can't see the shocked look on her face right now, and it takes her a few seconds more to gather herself enough to speak. ]
Yes, I can see you. What happened to you... who did this to you, Noctis?
no subject
But she was here now, and that mattered more.]
Ardyn happened. I still don't know what he did, but whatever it was, no one knew how to fix it. Or wanted to try. I'm told Ignis...it was supposed to happen to Ignis instead of me.
[Via the Ring, but he's still having a hard time wrapping his head around Ignis being dumb and reckless enough to put on the Ring and try to use it.]
no subject
Ardyn... the last I saw you... [ She closes her eyes and lets him finish. Well, that makes more sense, and now she knows for a fact that Noctis is not, in fact, the Noctis who was here before, nor is he the Noctis who will come to rest with her in ten years time. ] Yes... it was indeed supposed to be Ignis. Not that it should have been any of you. I knew Ignis when he was here, and that was his fate.
[ She opens her eyes, more determined now that she's got more of an understanding of the situation. ]
My dear Noctis... when I am able to come to you, I will. And I will see if I can do anything for your sight, though... I can make no promises. But I will try, you have my solemn word. I am so sorry that happened to you... I wish that there had been something that I could have done to prevent that.
[ Or, at least... she thinks that his world's version of her must feel horrible for it, whether she's alive or dead. ]
no subject
[He didn't set it to a private broadcast, at least not on purpose, and isn't sure if there's actually a way to do that via voice command.]
I doubt there's anything you can do, but there's nothing else to lose if it doesn't work. We probably should have left Leviathan to her nap, that would've prevented a whole lot of bad things from happening.
no subject
[ She hopes Shiro is still there, or in the Fleet in general, but... who knows, at this point. ]
I would like to at least try. I will pray that I am able to do something for you. [ Or, at the very least, provide the poor man with some sort of comfort. ] Ah... I wish that we could have left them all to their naps. I wish there had been a different way.
no subject
Hello! You have been here before? I have no idea that the Atroma do send people back home.
[For Abel, there's a chance he'll go back home. He's been praying for such a day...]
Ah, pardon me. We never met before. But welcome back. I just happen to find your information helpful. My name is Abel, Father Abel. I'm a priest at your service.
no subject
[ She nods, her head tilting ever so slightly. ]
Thank you so much. It is a pleasure to meet you, Father Abel. If there is anything you would like to know, please, I would be more than happy to assist, though I've no idea how helpful I will be.
[ Read: if he wants info on her previous stays within the Fleet, he is free to ask away! [

I hope your return to Marsiva isn't so bumpy? When I arrived here a shy three months ago, my entry on the ship was very turbulent! Eventually, I was transferred to the SS Caprine.
So you were here twice before! Did you visit any planets? Worlds? What are they like? So far, I visited two! It's quite exciting to find cities and civilizations throughout the universe.
no subject
Indeed. One of the last planets that I can recall was one that had cannibals on it. It was quite the battle... I was stuck on the planet with a few other people, and it was, to put it in a sense, absolutely insane. I pray that you have not been subjected to any dangerous planets.
no subject
Cannibals?! Well, that sounds...like an interesting trip. Oh dear, I'm glad you and the others made it. So far, I haven't experienced anything that unpleasant. The planets I visited so far are quiet and serene. The first world, I went hunting for legendary monsters by trying to take pictures, and the second is a high tech underground city and I found a virtual reality cafe and played a lot of games during my stay.
no subject
Yes... we lost many friends along the way, but we were fortunate to have them returned to us in due time. It... was something. I'm very glad to hear that you've been able to visit far more peaceful worlds... I would not wish any sort of chaos on anyone within the Fleet. It sounds very interesting!
Video
Luna! You're back!
Video
Prompto! Good day to you —— it is so good to see you again!
Re: Video
[He'd missed his friends so much.]
Video
[ ...Where even are they right now, might be a good question for later. ]
Video
[He laughs a little.]
Um. I moved ships. Also.
Video
[ She is, too. He seems none worse for the wear, which is a huge relief, at least. ]
Ah? Where are you assigned to now?

Mm. Time slippage can be weird... even when you're alive. It's happened to me a few times.
[The fact that he can say "a few times" was probably even weirder than the fact that time slippage even happened in the first place.]
no subject
[ Yes, a few times is... certainly a strange thing. But honestly, she's not gonna put anything past ANY world or universe. ]
no subject
[Keith shrugged a bit.]
You just kind of keep going.
