Who: Keith, You
Broadcast: Open
Action: Huntress, Planet, Etc... system catch-all
When: While in the current sytem

So, um... looks like I'm behind the curve again. [Keith chuckled a little darkly, not fully humorous. The rest of the team had gotten their bayards, he'd gotten his Blade... and then bayard later (though it had been the Black one, which, at the time, had made no sense and just threw confusion between him and Shiro). Then, everyone go tiny versions of the Voltron Lions and Shiro got a tiny Atlas. Keith had gotten Kosmo as a puppy. Now, he had the Black Lion... when it was just him and Lance from Team Voltron left.
At least Red was around? Keith shifted the video slightly to show the two tiny robots sitting near each other.]
Everyone, meet a tiny version of the Black Lion of Voltron. Though, without all five of them, we still can't form Voltron, so... sorry. No tiny Voltron.

{OOC: Open to action prompts just about anywhere as well. Keith will probably keep the Black Lion with him for a while as it's small and easy to steal, and there were issues with that back home for a while where Zarkon kept trying to take it back from Shiro, so... Yeah. Keith's wary. If you want to pre-plan, feel free to PM the journal or hit me up on Plurk at

action
As soon as he sees the broadcast, Lance hightails it to where Keith is. And once he's there, he immediately starts cooing over the two robots.]
Awww... They're so cute side by side.
Re: action
Yeah, they kind of are, actually.
[He'd never really considered the Lions to be "cute" before. Then again, it's kind of hard to look at something as large as they were normally and think "cute". But, this small? He could see it.
Especially Red's perky ears.]
At least Red isn't on her own anymore. [After Pidge left and the tiny Green Lion disappeared, Red was on her own. Keith was pretty sure Atlas was a decent companion for the Lions, but she wasn't a Lion and was much 'younger', so to speak, so he wasn't exactly sure how that would have worked out.
But, it was odd. He had talked to Shiro about having the tiny versions, and Shiro had mentioned the bond being there, even though they were essentially toys. Keith could feel that, but he wasn't sure what to do with it, yet. It wasn't like the Black Lion was anywhere near functional as an actual ship or weapon... just a really advanced sentient companion about the size of a child's robot toy.]
It's weird having them this small... [Keith wasn't sure if he liked it any better or worse than not having the bond there at all.]

[Even now, Lance still can't fully understand the bond with the mini lion. It is there, though obviously nowhere near as strong as with the actual Red. Even so, it's nice, and a pleasant reminder of his girl back home.]
Small is right. If they were normal sized, they'd be as big as some of these ships. Bigger, even.

[He chuckled a bit.
Yeah... it wasn't quite the same, but it was kind of nice to have that familiar sensation again.]
I'm glad I found that lake.
The planet... the singing on this one is really intense. Like, I can understand it. It wants to help us. That's why it gave me the Black Lion, even if he is kind of small.

[He hums, thinking that last statement over.]
It really is cool that you can understand that kind of stuff. I don't hear anything myself. Anyway, maybe I should go visit that lake... I don't know what it'd give me, if anything, but it's worth a shot.

This is the strongest one I've been on. Before it was always just this buzzing or even a musical chime in the background of everything. It would effect how I felt, like giving me energy. But I've never heard actual words before.
[Well... except that one planet... with the cannibals. That one had felt sick. But, either way, this one was more than just a sensation or a whisper of a song on the wind.]
It couldn't hurt to go look. I could take you.

That'd be sweet. Field trip and all that.
no subject
Okay. Yeah. We can definitely do that, then. There's definitely this sense of the planet wanting to help, so I have a feeling that a lot of the regains are going to be something at least relatively useful. So, who knows? [He shrugged.]

When do you wanna go?

I heard there's a good beach here, by the way.

[As if Keith doesn't see him naked on a regular basis.]

.....
Maybe.
[Keith crossed his arms.]

[He's grinning, touched that Keith is jealous, okay.]

They are?

Not like that.
[And he had a tendency to just focus on his flaws anyway. He wasn't ashamed, he just didn't see the appeal.]
no subject
[Pause.]
Okay, that sounded mega crude, but you get my point!

[Keith rolled his eyes.]
But... thanks. I think.
