Hi everybody! Ino, captain of the SS Three Twins, if we haven't met already.

[ Not, you know, that Aaron loser who was pretending to be her awhile ago. Gosh. B( ]

--Just a few things ... !

First of all, it seems like everyone is making decent headway on repairs, but is there anyone who's in dire need of some parts that hasn't gotten them yet? Let me know, I'll see what I can do about getting something sent your way.

Secondly ... well, I know not all of you were here for it when it happened, but the reason we're stuck on this little station and not somewhere cooler is because we were attacked by some sort of enemy forces. Nobody was hurt too badly, but the ships themselves weren't so lucky. Unfortunately we're still pretty in the dark about who they were or what the point of the whole thing was, but that doesn't mean we can't do anything about it!

That being said, there are two important things we need to work on. The first being making sure everyone on every ship at least has a little bit of experience with every possible augment. Between your crews you guys should be able to teach each other the basics! And, of course, if you're missing some and don't know who to look to for information, let me know, or ask around. Or, if you happen to have one of the rarer augments, feel free to volunteer here! After all, knowing what to do in a situation of distress is crucial!

And the other thing being, we really need to work on, you know, our actual plans in case we get attacked again. Teamwork, strategy, that sort of thing. Once all the ships are up in the air again I think it'd be a good idea to run some practice formations and stuff like that, so we can easily communicate what needs to be done to get out of a situation like that safely if it happens again. Since, you know, there's a pretty good chance it might!

Any thoughts? Other captains? Other people? Of course, my crew doesn't really get a choice.

I got bored about a quarter of the way through, so I'm going to fill this in as I see fit myself:

We were attacked! Blah blah something something TEAMWORK! Something something, control issues.

[ Hey he thinks he recognizes you. At least, Crowley did say "Ino" had also been from Paradisa, and the voice seemed more or less familiar. ]

Believe the problem with "practice formations" is a lack of pilots. Although working with those that do, to cover those that don't...

[ Otherwise he has no problems with this plan. ]

[and guess who only tuned in to pay attention when he caught the words 'my crew.'

Wait... what?

[ Smiles. The kind of smile where she's probably going to kill you right after. ]

Crowley, if you don't have anything nice or helpful to say, you can piss off.

[ Oh hey, you look vaguely familiar too, Duke! ]

Yeah, that's why I'm thinking the whole cross training thing will be important. There's not much we can do about what augments get assigned to people, but we can do our best to cover for what we lack.

[He lets out a loud yawn. Was there something important in all that TEAMWORK chat because he doesn't notice it.]

Do you have any experience in this sort of thing or are you just going to yell at us again?

[ Patiently: ]

[there is a pathetically long pause while he tries to remember enough of what she said to be able to paraphrase into an answer.

...and he ultimately fails at it.]

[He knows that smile, and grins right back. ]

[ Ugh ..... you again. She frowns, but she keeps it professional: ]

I can offer training for medical emergencies, and I have a decent amount of experience in tactics and battle formations that I'd be happy to use to help everyone out. There's plenty I have yet to learn, just like everyone else, but I know a lot of people in the Fleet and could easily connect people with whoever they need to learn the skills they lack.

I don't plan on yelling at anyone unless they decide they are too selfish to see the importance of working together to keep everyone safe.

I can help out with drill practice if ya' need it. Helpin' with the security augment, too. Either as the instructor or the target. It's a good idea ya' got here, Ino.

And you're being bossy.

I mean, if Atroma really wanted us hurt, they'd just switch the augments off and leave us drift through space like sitting ducks.

Yes, because making a negotiable suggestion in the interest of keeping everyone out of harm's way is so bossy.

Yeah, and if the castle wanted us dead, it would have found a way to kill us. Doesn't mean it hurts to be prepared to help the people around you.

.... Would it work for pilots? I was under the impression we couldn't change anything to do with flight, without one?

[ Are they going to cover the dash with sticky notes and hope that the controls respond when someone pushes the buttons. ]

I can definitely understand it working with some of the repairing, cooking, or medical knowledge.

I'm not entirely sure -- but if we're not able to figure out a way, then we either need to get any extra pilots we might have to transfer, or form a battle plan that involves the ships that have pilots covering for those who don't.

And, at the very least, someone's gotta know how to shoot back.

... If it doesn't work out, the ones that don't have pilots would automatically lead the way. Organizing the others about them is entirely possible.

That one may depend on stomach for the thing as well. [ He forgot about that one because that's his job, oops. ]

I was more talking about the 'my crew doesn't get a choice' part.

Ah. Yes. Right. Togetherness and all that.

That's right. Plus, even if a ship already has a pilot, there's a chance they could become incapacitated or injured. Someone else on the ship needs to be able to take the reigns if something happens.

[ A pause ...]

... What do you mean by that?

You're not a part of my crew, so why do you care?

And if you're going to make a big show about not helping, then you can do it somewhere else.

[ She's pretty sure Crowley would probably help if someone was dying or something, so ]

Going...well?

[He sees those other responses. See. This may be the exact reason he nixed Beverly's idea about coordinating with the fleet]

I suppose I can offer to help teach first aid, though it seems like we have a lot of medics now - so I'm not sure how many people I'd get.

[ A little sigh ]

As well as it can, I guess.

Yeah, we do have a lot of medics, but it couldn't hurt for everyone to learn a few basic skills just in case. Anything would be helpful, honestly!

A definite reason to push for medical abilities as well. [ Someone bashes their head, and can't see because of blood, bandaged properly they probably could still fly- ]

Those who don't like the idea of causing harm, defense as an offense, pushing a button and watching things take damage or explode. [ He's obviously fairly indifferent about it. ] ... I suppose it would have been less... odd, to say "those who would be willing to potentially kill". [ He's screwing up language again, isn't he. ]
