Who: Anduin Wrynn
Broadcast: Fleet-Wide
Action: The Marsiva
When: Mid-day April 25th
[Upon waking up, it's going to take some time to come to grips with where he is and why his clothing is perfectly mended and he feels more rested than he has in weeks (if not months). For awhile he's just going to explore his new surroundings before trying his hand at a broadcast. Anduin's not precisely sure how he knows how to use the device but ...he does. It's different and new, and he tries to keep his voice level and somewhat neutral as he faces this new endeavor. It's at odds with the expression on his face, which is something like that of a confused puppy.]
Perhaps someone can assist me.
[He drops into silence with a quiet sigh, mulling over his words once more, settling on a path. When he glances up again his voice is warm once more, the calm returning.]
Introductions are in order first, I believe. Hello, my name is Anduin. Anduin Wrynn...
[He debated offering his title for a moment and for those potentially native to Azeroth it shows in how he trails off. Something lingering in the final syllable of his name but going unsaid. After a heartbeat he picks up that slack with a moderately cheerful tone and finishes his thoughts with a smile.]
I think that it would be my pleasure to meet you all as well.

[She reminds him a little of the children of nobles back home - minus the biting, overly posh manner many of them had. He had never overly socialized with those of his own age, but he had been aware of them, introduced to them. She had the manners of a lady. He offered his arm as a gentleman should, and there is no trace of a limp to his gait, only a healthy, measured pace as he walks at her side.]
It's proving to be a lot to take in. I'm not even sure where to start!

a smile, then - understanding, sympathetic. ]
Is it unlike what you are familiar with? [ she knows the answer, but that matters little. perhaps she can brush over the fact she named him your grace, cover her tracks. ] It is the same for me. Isn't it amazing?

It's... nothing like home. Even Draenei ships are nothing like this. But you're right, it... it is amazing. I just don't understand why-
[He takes a breath, walking with her, pausing before the giant, viewing window.]
Just look at that...
[And then his gaze slides back to her, hand tucked over hers against his arm.]
May I ask you something? How did you know?

alas, she feels her breathing hold for a moment, fear threatening to rifle through her nerves like prying hands.
she forces the feeling away, trusting him and trusting herself, and pauses only for a moment before admittedly, quite shyly - ]
Forgive me. It's only - you reminded me of someone, so much so I forgot myself.
[ which is true, she reasons. she'd hate to lie to him. ]
But, I am correct? [ she smiles, allowing it to be a little bold, as though teasing, even if she would never dream of being disrespectful. not to him.
it grieves her to play strangers with him, after everything, but needs must. ]

[Correct, that is. Her boldness is nice, the teasing accepted easily. He squeezed at her hand lightly - still keeping at her side, but remaining respectful. She's a lady, he knows that much and he reaches for the courtly manners he was raised with.]
Was any of this like your home?
no subject
No. Nothing at all - unless we looked up, of course, but even the stars seem different.

I agree - but I never thought of them being so... so vast either.
