[When Mal is not busy tinkering in the engine room, she spends most of her time in the kitchen. This is not only because the kitchen is one of the best places to look ruffled yet elegant, but because it houses the Caprine's brand new coffee machine, which arrived on board exactly when she did. Because otherwise she would eat all of you.]

[Okay, maybe not Aziraphale. He probably wouldn't taste good.]

[Once the coffee's done (a process that takes approximately three hours), she heads to the armory and pokes around at the weapons. They're a bit puzzling, all a far cry from the pikes and crossbows she's used to.]
