[He regards her back, similar, bird like movements, unsure if he's under threat or not.
Her moving through things is interesting, but he stays on edge, watching her, trying to feel out compassion, empathy, kindness, something familiar.
He can't feel it. But, there's none of the opposite. No grief, no despair, not aching emptiness. A minor pitch in the notes, she misses her... work? Life? He shakes his head.]
I don't understand. It's not there, but other things are. How can it not be there if the other things are?

She slips herself up onto a nearby surface, sitting down as she looks at him. Confusion is dominant. And a little bit of frustration that she can't comprehend what he means.
People and feelings and... well. All the things she'd been informed over and over that by lacking these feelings she was worthless. It makes her a little bit angry.
She hadn't even done anything to him. It wasn't fair.]

Fine, then. Jinx didn't like pain, it just made her angry. She didn't need some not-thing to tell her nonsense. She slips off the edge of her counter, and walks right past him (close as she can get so he'll feel her discordance shiver through him) and directly through a wall and away.
