Who: Wrathion; perhaps you
Broadcast: Fleet-wide
Action: Three Twins, if you want to find him steepling his fingers somewhere and grinning too much
When: N-n-now
[Wrathion can't say he's exactly settled in yet. He's been assigned a ship; he has a position; he's met some people. He's learned a little--some of it interesting (so many different kinds of people already), some of it repellent (some of these kinds ought to wear a little more clothing), some of it merely filed away for later examination. Then there was Belthazar. Not trusting, no, but desperate. The best kind of person to help.
Wrathion's sitting at some table on his ship, looking into the camera, his smile as cheerful and full of teeth as always. Of all the experiences he's had in his short time here, one does stand out as particularly interesting.
That warning.]
My friends.
[Because we're all friends, right? Right.]
A little bird told me something fascinating. He warned me right off the bat about the current population of this Fleet.
In fact--
[Wrathion leans forward, his smile only widening.]
-- he implied quite directly that the lot of you were bloodthirsty murderers. Tell me, is this so? Am I among a congregation of fierce warriors? Of people prepared to kill at a moment's notice--no matter the target?
I should very much like to know.

Chromatic? I assure you: no.

'Chromatic' means something very different to me than to you, and I am not among them.
[True aggravation seeps into his voice.]
You people are small-minded. Your world is not my world, my world is not your world. Do not project your prejudices onto me!

but he's right. She closes her mouth, frowns, and looks away. He still creeps her out, but she was rude to make assumptions.
He's still a chromatic dragon though. :P]
You're right. I apologize.

His voice is a little more subdued.]
Thank you. That is appreciated.

[The words come out of her mouth, but they're clearly a lesson someone else taught her.]
I think perhaps we both made some unfortunately hasty judgments. [Calling people murderers and all.] Shall we start fresh with one another?
no subject
Yes, let's. How about I have your name, hmm?

[No fancy titles or lineage. Nope. Nothing special here. They may be starting over but she'll play her heritage card close to her chest for now.]
