Action: Throughout the fleet, Felix is basically going to different ships to gather ingredients he needs to make some of his treatments.
When: Throughout the day, today.

Note: Basically, it's okay to say he's where you need him to be when you need it. If possible just tell me what ship you're on in your reply somewhere. If you want to interact with him towards the end of the day, please note so because at that time he'll be a little more worn down but still his chipper self.


[The augment is ensuring that he is able to stand and walk around, at least for a while, but it isn't completely masking all of his symptoms. He still feels dizzy throughout the day, or senses the Blight creeping up on him.

He knows he isn't going to die while here, but he would like at least to be able to manage his symptoms a bit better. Eventually, he gets it in his head that he should try to make some of his powders here. He starts by trying to find out if the Heron has what he needs first by going through their supplies, but finds only part of the ingredients.

A quick inventory search and he realizes that the ingredients are placed throughout the Fleet.

For a moment, it seems almost like a pointless scavenger hunt, but then he remembers what Natasha said about how they try to think of ways to get you to interact with others.

Throughout the day, he finds himself on many of the ships here, seeking out their open supplies to see if he can gather what he needs. He has to go through proper channels at times, and others they just give it to him without a fuss. Still, he finds the whole process exhausting.

That doesn't stop him from being friendly with everyone he sees. In fact, he seems set on making as many allies as he can.]

[Cole is waiting for Felix, with a small bundle of plant bits which he's 'borrowed' from Jove's room. It might be best not to ask how he knew to be there.]

[Felix is surprised, but pleasantly so. He doesn't know Cole because the spirit joined the Inquisition after Redcliffe, but still, it's helpful to have them already.]

Er... Thank you. [It might be best not to ask but he's going to anyway.] Did one of the other ships send word that I'd be here?

No. I've been picking up echoes of you from others, then you came near enough to hear you, so I got the things you'll need.

[He offers out the bundle.]

He's scared. Happy, but scared. When the impossible is given, it must be taken away again. Like acceptance, love, and other impossible things.

Your song isn't right. It grinds against the Old Song.

[He usually tries to keep the weirdness down a bit, but meeting Felix in person after so many impressions and now conflicting information flooding from him makes it too hard.]

[Felix takes the package and moves a little closer to Cole out of concern.]

You're not though. You'll get some relief from the heart shaped leaves. If you need other herbs, Jove can help you with that. She's got a lovely garden.

[Cole ducks his head and shifts uncomfortably, but doesn't move away.]

Dorian told me to never go near Alexius. In case his curiosity pierced his grief.

[Him mentioning Dorian and Jove gives Felix at least a better sense that this boy is an ally.]

Are you with the Inquisition? You were at Skyhold while my father was there?

[He nods slowly, looking at his own fingers.]

Yes. I could hear him from nearly everywhere in Skyhold. He Despaired.

[That idea grips Felix's heart in his own grief, as he thinks about how sad his father must have been, how destroyed. He's grateful that Jove gave him a second chance, but how much of a chance can he have if he's given up?]

I see...

It's not like with a spirit. It isn't an end of who he is. But he didn't want to grieve when you could Despair.

[Cole was quiet, thinking about that. He still possibly shouldn't have said it.]

Are you going to see Dorian?

[He offers Cole a reassuring smile.]

I may, when he's ready.

[Another pause as Cole think about this and reaches to Dorian through Felix.]

Oh. He's not taken it well. No. He doesn't trust the world, you being here is frightening, too close to a wish becoming true.

That's what I thought as well. He'll come around though. He's a good man.

Yes, he is, though he doesn't believe that.

He only yelled at me once when I was asking him questions and he apologised for yelling at me after. Most people yell a lot more when I ask things.

Why would they yell at you for asking questions?

[killedwithlove]

[Cole looks slightly wary at that and moves out of striking range.]

I ask things that hurt. People don't always like me trying to help their hurts. Dorian let me ask things, even if they hurt him, to try and learn more about people.

I see... He doesn't do well when confronted with his emotions.

[killedwithlove]

No. But he let me ask anyway, because he wanted to help me learn about people. And I wanted to help him. But I couldn't.

Fenris helps him. I like that.

[blightedson]

Does he? Yes, I got that impression from him.

[killedwithlove]

Dorian's happier with Fenris. Not just because of the sex, though he likes that.

[Sorry about that, Felix. Cole has little concept of 'appropriate conversation'.]

[Felix chuckles a bit.]

I see... Interesting.

He hates himself a bit less when he's with Fenris. That's good. I couldn't unknot that hate, but Fenris is starting to help him do it.

Then I'm very happy they found one another.

Does healing help the taint? I know some healers, we could try and ease the pain of it.
