Action: Throughout the fleet, Felix is basically going to different ships to gather ingredients he needs to make some of his treatments.
When: Throughout the day, today.

Note: Basically, it's okay to say he's where you need him to be when you need it. If possible just tell me what ship you're on in your reply somewhere. If you want to interact with him towards the end of the day, please note so because at that time he'll be a little more worn down but still his chipper self.


[The augment is ensuring that he is able to stand and walk around, at least for a while, but it isn't completely masking all of his symptoms. He still feels dizzy throughout the day, or senses the Blight creeping up on him.

He knows he isn't going to die while here, but he would like at least to be able to manage his symptoms a bit better. Eventually, he gets it in his head that he should try to make some of his powders here. He starts by trying to find out if the Heron has what he needs first by going through their supplies, but finds only part of the ingredients.

A quick inventory search and he realizes that the ingredients are placed throughout the Fleet.

For a moment, it seems almost like a pointless scavenger hunt, but then he remembers what Natasha said about how they try to think of ways to get you to interact with others.

Throughout the day, he finds himself on many of the ships here, seeking out their open supplies to see if he can gather what he needs. He has to go through proper channels at times, and others they just give it to him without a fuss. Still, he finds the whole process exhausting.

That doesn't stop him from being friendly with everyone he sees. In fact, he seems set on making as many allies as he can.]

[ People! Asteffiel's little song ends and he peeks around a stalk-y set of plants at the door.

You don't really look like someone he's seen here before. He thinks he would remember that. ]

[Felix blinks a couple times at how Asteffiel works but otherwise doesn't judge. Instead, he smiles at him. The hi was very friendly and he wants to return that.]

[ Singing at plants makes the most sense to him. They're cute when they're tiny, and helpful when they're big! ]

I am good. Are you new to the Tourist? How are you? [ Because he doesn't recognize you, and this is the medical bay, s o ... ]

I'm from the Heron. I came here to see if I could have some of these items? Fenris suggested I check here.

[He comes over with his list, some of the medicinal items have the Tourist's name next to them.]

Ohh. [ Ferris talked about Asteffiel without being terribly rude? It's a miracle!

Let him peer at that list for a moment. ]

Uhhhm. ... Ah! [ Excuse him as he goes back into the land of potted plants.

He'll be back with one. ]

I can get one that you can grow, I think. I might have a pot and enough dirt...

Really? That would be a huge help.

[ Asteffiel nods excitedly. Yay helping! ]

If you have seeds of any other plants you need, I can get them going too! .... Although maybe after I get more dirt.

[ A pause. ]

... What does all this make?

A treatment. For something called the Blight.

[ Asteffiel blinks once, then twice, then makes a face.

He is a plant. Blights aren't okay. ]

Does it work like plant blights, because I do not want to give you a little plant if it does.

[ ... That was a bit rude, wasn't it. But little plants are important to him, s o... ]

Oh no. Not at all. It's taint in my blood. It cannot be passed onto any other living creature. Unless they drank my blood perhaps. I don't think the plants will be doing that any time soon.

Be very careful with your paper cuts.

[ Plants wouldn't know better. ]

I will, though it does take quite a bit more blood to worry about it.

... But plants are usually small?

[ If it takes a lot of blood for flesh-people, then it might not need much for a plant!

Or so Asteffiel's thoughts go.

But he'll look for an empty pot (or a mug, if he can't find a pot) and see how much soil he can find too. Maybe he will have to layer some of his half-composted leaves under the soil of any transplants... that would probably work! ]

Do most plants have a circularity system? [They don't where he's from, but he isn't sure about how things are here.]

It doesn't have the ... uh, heart! But the sap flows all over. It's a mixture of gravity and... something else. That's how they move food from their leaves to their roots!

Sylvari are a little different, but that is because my hair doesn't give me food. And I don't have roots.

Oh. Well, I think that means they can't get this taint. No plants from my homeland have it, for example.

... So things need hearts to get the blight?

[ That sounds like the opposite of sense- ]

Hm. well, more that they need blood?

[innercactus]

... And plants won't keep blood as blood, they would try using it for food! Because they have sap already.
