[The bar Hange picked out is about typical for the planet: a little small, although big enough for the turnout Hange more or less expects, and clean albeit a little dingy and stained around the edges. At very least, all the stains have been scrubbed at thoroughly at some point in their history, and only the most stubborn and enterprising remain.

Stubborn and enterprising like the crew the bar will now entertain!

[Hange arrives first, as befitting the person who organized the whole thing... well, "organized" it. How much is there to do when the booze is free and the food isn't much to speak of?

She's kicking it at the bar, already tossing back alcohol. Her posture and her grin are relaxed, but her eyes are still canny. A little booze doesn't take the edge off a soldier like this one.]

[ And the worst captain ever is coming in and waving at her all happily and overexcitedly. The first party he's ever been invited to!!! ]

[Good lord, and look at her face. She actually looks happy to see him.]

[ Be very afraid. Not because he's drinking, but because he's here. And if you've talked to him at all, he will be super friendly.

[ He's got somewhat of a childish voice, high and lilting and definitely at odds with...most everything he says, really. ]

[ This is officially the most awkward. It has to be. This whole place is full of people older than him and he's like, literally the only teenager here. In fact he's sure he's the youngest and there is just all sorts of stuff about this places that screams YOU'RE GROUNDED.

So just...don't mind him....awkwardly standing off to the side here this guy is so not ready to be a captain someone help ]

[She takes a moment to look him up and down, gauging his age and physique and general physical threat level. Curses, huh? Well, she'll believe it when she sees it... but she'd rather not see it.]

Well, I'm glad you made it! [She hops off her barstool and goes to shake his hand.]

[ Well, he doesn't look like he regularly beats people up, at the very least!

Me too! I've never been invited anywhere before, ahaha!

Y, yeah...me neither. [ Actually it was more he hoped he never would again, but... ]

[ He jumps a bit when she addresses him, reflexively standing up a whole lot straighter like he's just been caught doing something he shouldn't. He should recognize her right away from the video feed but he's dumb and just blurts out; ]

[ He's not sure if these are trick questions or not okay ]

[Crowley is still not enthralled with his 'Captain' title, but he likes the resignation paperwork less, so here he is. He's largely keeping to himself in a quiet corner, a nice pile of drinks set up around him.]
