[ The video is abrupt, the angle awkward. It cuts on to a comm laying on what appears to be a dining table in a fully upgraded kitchen. Chris is standing off-center, facing someone who is holding what appears to be a lightly-glowing orb in his hands.

This appears to be a very controversial thing, holding a glowy ball. ]

They gave you grandad?! It's a casino! Where the hell did they even get that?

Actually, where the hell do you even keep that now? Or... then. Back then? Whatever. How do you play slots to win your father's soul?

Of course that begs the question of if we all do nothing would we be sent home then? For failing to be entertaining?

That seems kind of... counter to what they want. They might just keep us around forever.

More likely than not, yes. Though I like to think eventually we might run our course and be sent home.

They've been talking about seasons on the show, so maybe it's just a matter of some of us getting sent home earlier than others. Or... who knows.

I think it might be best not to think on it to much. This Atroma has designs all its own, and I worry should I begin to think as it does.

Yeah. Much as I like 'know thy enemy,' it's probably not the greatest idea here. We don't even know what Atroma is. Not really.

We had a similar issue in Paradisa. Sad to say we never did find out the truth.

Ah, I see. It shall be a rather daunting task, I think, considering the way the Fleet is spread and the way we travel, though it does make me think that this Atroma is located on one of the ships since it must follow us the way it draws people in...

Spread out, but not really out of contact or anything. If we didn't have communicators, sure...

[ He pauses, grimaces. ]

It's not my fault if that becomes a special episode or something like that, okay?

Anyway, I imagine Atroma's probably on the one ship we can't get to, or at least watching from there.

Not on our own power. The Marsiva? Everyone ends up there first. You can't get off on your own, can't get on on your own.

Oh yes, I recall that. I had not thought to try and return to it, honestly. But that would make sense as being the place of its power, if that is true.
