[sometime in the evening, shortly after dinner, a grinning elven face (with brand new crazy bluish hair) appears over the network. the camera is unsteady, bouncing all over as he shuffles his grip on it.]

Guys! Hey, guys... did you know that there is a tattoo place here? And it's, like... right next door to this bar where everything looks like it's covered in gold? And... there's a place to dance...

[and--ah--he finally gets the communicator turned all the way from his face, so it can swing around to show clumsy shots of all the places he's mentioning. lots of light and sound, it looks like a party.

and eventually, the camera jostles around to show his face again, and he looks so excited.]

--Hey! We should totally all get tattoos! It'll be awesome!


[and anyone who heads down to meet him, or just happens to be walking through this section of the station, can find Nel either bopping around the waiting area of the tattoo parlor, or hanging out in the bar next door, looking over a free handout of tattoo designs.

I think this one here is supposed to be one of those freaky tall birds from, like, months ago. But it's riding a motorbike or something?

Tattoos? [He presses his fingertip against one of the little teardrop marks beneath his eyes.] I dunno. I think I paid too much for my first set. [Courtesy laugh. These marks aren't even actually tattoos--he got them because he lost his heart.]

He's visited it enough to pick out who the other typical clientele are, but he's rather surprised when he walks in and finds Nel there. It'd been a while since Adachi had spoken to the elf, so he figured he'd wander over and see what entertainment the pointy-eared kid could provide. He grabs a seat next to Nel and eyes the handout.]

--Mm! [he puts his drink down so he can talk, hardly glancing over to see who it is before he's answering.]

Tattoos! Look at these... [as he slides the pamphlet toward Adachi] ...There's one in there that I think is one of those tall bird things, but it's riding some sort of motorbike or something. It's crazy.

[Adachi cocks an eyebrow at the tattoo design. Then at Nel. Then back at the tattoo.]
