#004 [Accidental Video]

[it appears that the atroma is tired of one of its star ratings-grabbers not doing a damn thing. for the entire duration of april, hiro was fixing ships and running jobs for parts. for the month of may, he's been using those parts. he's currently working with black paint of some sort, with music playing from seemingly nowhere (looks like the sound system he kept talking about got completed).

[if you haven't sought him out, and you're not regularly training him, hiro's been completely radio silent while he's been working. in fact, he hasn't even answered text messages in a couple days.

[when he finishes coating the surface he's working on in the paint, he lowers the mask he's wearing and sighs, wiping (and smearing paint on) his forehead. he looks like a mess.

[but hey, at least he's alive!]

Okay, I'll give you that one. But it does still leave room for you to go after your crewmates with an axe because you're stressed to the point of psychosis.

... yeah? Not very often, but I've played.

[a pause]

... and I wouldn't go after my crew, they could all kick my butt.

Take a break and come over to my ship. I got a couple'a frisbees at the casino, we can throw 'em around in the cargo hold. You can show me your moves, whaddaya say?

[And then he kind of blows a raspberry.]

I dunno, I don't think I'd mess with a crazy overworked kid with an axe, personally.

[And he laughs then.]

I suppose I could. But then he'd have an axe that is on fire, that might just make things worse.

[He's glad he relented; the kid really needs to learn how to slack off like a proper 14 year old sometimes. Axel is a champion slacker, so he'll just have to give him a few lessons.]

[hiro can relent if he's pestered enough; luckily he's been at the end of the current projects today, and he's willing to break.

[it'll take him time to get over there, he might be a few minutes late, but he's docking with the Tourist shortly.]

[Axel will be waiting in the cargo bay, idly spinning a frisbee around one finger. He's got two of them, the other one sitting on top of the crate he's leaning against. He looks up when Hiro arrives, waving casually.]

Hey, there he is, the big working man.

[he waves back, and look at that pride puffing him up.]

I try. Somebody's gotta take care of the fleet.
