Who: Sokka and you?
Broadcast: Fleet-wide
Action: Marsiva
When: Mid afternoon, 28th!
[Sokka has been through quite a few perturbing experiences in his short life. These experience doubled exponentially after meeting Aang, which he suspected was just part and parcel of being Team Avatar. Past Avatar friends probably had to deal with giant sea serpents, people who could blow you up with their mind, and worst of all hippies. Waking up in space is definitely up there in his 'perturbing experiences' list. It's a solid second, right between the hippies and the creepy ghost swamp.
The last thing he remembers is falling off the airship with Toph. He'd managed to keep hold of her, keep her from falling to a grizzly death, and lost his boomerang and sword in the process. Then the army aboard the ship had surrounded them and then....what? He frowns, glancing down at the broken leg that's no longer broken, and then around him at these exceptionally strange surroundings. Almost nothing here rings even a touch of familiarity to him, as he carefully walks around, wishing he'd had the presence of mind to take more than two weapons on board a war ship with him.
There's only one explanation he can come to, only one that makes absolute sense. His communicator buzzes, alive and unnoticed in a corner, recording him as he looks skyward, raising his hands up.]
Okay, I get that I'm probably dead and you guys have got a lot of crazy spirit world shenanigans to get up to, but I'm kind of in the middle of saving the world so if we could reschedule that'd be great.
[He pauses, waiting for a reply. He has to admit, this isn't like the hazy memories of the last time he was dragged into the spirit world, and panic is starting to creep into his tone.]
This isn't about what happened with the owl is it? Because he started it. You ask anyone and they'll back me up! Hello?
[At even more silence, he throws himself into full on panic mode.]
PLEASE DON'T KEEP ME HERE, I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT BATHROOMS AGAIN!!!!!!!!

...How can you see a disembodied voice?
no subject
[Okay. No. Calm. Deep breaths.]
Look, I just need to be pointed to the nearest exit to the Fire Nation. I've got a battle to win.
no subject
Sorry, I can't really do that. Only exits where you are at, well, they'd lead to a pretty quick and brutal death.

[He starts muttering under his breath, peering out through that giant window at all that SPACE.]

Sorry. I'm not a spirit, so I can't really give any Spirit World wisdom now, can I?

[Thinking...]
You see any landmarks? I can come and find you, we need to get out of here, and we've got a better chance of doing it together.
no subject
But I doubt you'd reach me. You won't get sorted into a ship until Friday.
no subject
[No, wait. He knows what this is about, a space ship. But he's never experienced anything like this before, how is he supposed to just KNOW?]
Okay the information being dropped into my brain thing is super creepy and I don't like it.
No way to speed that up?
no subject
[Though if this guy ignores him and touches it anyway, eh he doesn't care that much]
Not that I know of.
no subject
[Okay. Okay. Not touching the thingie in his neck. Move on. Focus. This is clearly not the spirit world, and in a few days, he'll be deposited on a ship. That sails through space. This is the last chance he'll probably have to check the Marsiva out before he's moved.]
I guess that gives me enough time to try and find some navigation scrolls, maybe some answers for getting home.
[The he'll just commandeer the ship he's put on and head back. Easy.]
no subject
[Yeah, good luck checking that place out. And finding the bathroom]
Scrolls? [man, even Sylvarant had figured out bound books and they were next to the dark ages] Haha, about that...you might find scrolls are a bit outdated for this place.
[By a few millennia]
no subject
Scrolls are never outdated, that's what everybody writes on.
no subject
And nooo, they don't. Not in any place I've been.
no subject
So you just don't read anything at all?
no subject
[Not gonna stop you from entertaining him by doing stupid shit!]
I didn't say that. People use books, notebooks - or communicators like I'm using right now.
no subject
[They were in the spirit library.]
no subject
You know, since they're kinda heavy.
no subject
So what, information is on these little...computer things? [He says the word carefully, his brain know what it means, but his tongue has no idea how the word is pronounced.] So I need to find more of those.
