Video
Who: Yuya Sakaki
Broadcast: Fleet-wide video
Action: Marsiva
When: Saturday, May 23
[There's the image of a splayed hand rising away from the camera at first, and then a close-up view of green cargo pants - something's broadcasting from on the floor. The owner of the cargo pants isn't completely visible due to the angle, but there is a salmon-colored T-shirt and a kid's face, leaning over with his nose against one of the Marsiva's viewing windows. If he's aware of the broadcast, he doesn't seem to show it; but then again, he's currently busy being dumbfounded by the view outside right now.]
Space? This isn't...
[He fiddles with what looks like sort of maroon-colored device strapped to his arm, removing a card from a slot and re-inserting it.]
Dimension Mover, acti--huh? Error? Oh, come on, this can't be...where is everyone?
[He turns around to look out at the rest of the deck, seeing other people around but nobody he's looking for. It's again hard to tell for sure from the angle but he seems to shrink back just slightly - that is, until he glances downwards and sees the weird device he's been recording reflecting himself back at him.]
Eh? It's recording me?
[Crap. Shock registers on his face, then panic, and he scrambles to pick up the device and hold it out a foot from his face with one hand, tossing the other out dramatically like he's showing off the view of the stars behind him. His face is more visible now, now a wide-eyed grin that looks slightly forced before melding into something more natural. His voice, on the other hand, takes on a more pronounced and theatrical quality once he starts speaking again.]
Uh--Ladies and gentlemen! Hello! My name is Yuya Sakaki. I don't know whether it's day or night right now, but good day to you all the same! If there's anybody listening who could explain to me where we are, I humbly request your assistance. Thank you!
[There's a little more flailing as he uses his free hand to poke around until the broadcast shuts off, and then it's all mercifully over. For now.]

video;
is probably not the craziest he's ever seen, but it's still pretty far up there.]
Hey hey, welcome aboard! Right now, I'm guessing you're on the Marsiva. You just showed up, right?
video;
Y-yeah. Did anyone else show up here?
video;
[Clay sits to get himself comfortable; he knows that just showing up can be a pretty harrowing experience, so he'd rather just sit with the person - metaphorically speaking, and talk things through.]
You've probably got a looot of questions right now. I'm not sure if I can answer them all, but fire away.
video;
Where can I find everyone that just came? It looks like we got separated.
video;
video;
[He doesn't see any of the Lancers in this big space, though, and there were nine of them when they left. Something Clay's said sticks out to him, though.]
Could my friends have appeared on those other ships instead?

Uh, hey.
no subject
Is your performance over? I rather enjoyed it.
no subject
I'd be glad to give you another, but first I'm looking for my friends, and for more information about this place. Have you seen anybody else here?
no subject
Your friends are not here. We are in space. [She motions towards the window.] As you may have noticed.
Apparently, we have all been kidnapped from our various worlds and homes. Brought here to be on some alien television show. By what or whom, no one seems to know yet. That is all I am able to tell you at the moment. I am sorry.
no subject
Wanda's news clearly disturbs him much more than that, though: Kidnappings. Space. Aliens. No friends. He hasn't felt in over this head since...actually just a day ago, but on top of the invasions and the casualties and Yuzu's disappearance--yeah, that's a little much.
His emotions are running high all of a sudden, but trying to turn them into words is a little difficult. After a moment he manages to get out one thought - more of a fear, or something.]
Is a group called Academia behind this?
no subject
Academia? No. I believe the one behind this is something or someone named Atroma.
no subject
[Well, that's something. Maybe. This situation isn't as dangerous as being captured by Academia, probably, but that's not saying much overall. A course of action...they're on a television show. Shows don't run forever, or at least most of them don't.]
Do you know how long they want us to be here?
no subject
No one that I have spoken to seems to know. People just seem to come and go here, and it is rather unclear why.
no subject
Then what's the point of kidnapping people? If they're going to just let people go for no reason...unless they aren't.
[That's actually somewhat terrifying, given his experience with Academia. Wherever Yuzu is now, Yuya sure hopes she's out of their hands.]
no subject
[Wanda sighs as she rubs her forehead.]
I still do not fully understand it all myself. I only just arrived yesterday.
no subject
Sorry. It's just weird. I didn't even know aliens had TV.
[And that was a joke, but it does raise a real question (or yet another one).]
no subject
[Yeah, that joke sailed right over Wanda's head, or she just chose to ignore it. Hard to tell.]
no subject
No kidding. We're really...here. I wonder if my friends are all right.
[Where they ended up shouldn't have been different from where he ended up, after all. In theory.]
no subject
Who knows?
[There's a brief pause, as Wanda's eyes travel around the deck and then back to Yuya. She gives a small smile when she sees how troubled he looks, wishing she could do more to comfort him.]
They must be very important to you for you to worry this much.

[Wanda ponders briefly about what to say next. She seems unsure of what more comfort she should try and provide Yuya. After a brief pause, she hesitantly adds:]
I am sure your friends are safe. You may yet see them again.
no subject
I hope so...but not here! They're better off in the--where we were going.
[Except Yuzu maybe, depending on how she's doing. Would have been nice if Atroma had waited to kidnap him until after he'd found her.]
no subject
Was it a difficult journey? Where you and your friends were going?
