[So it's Ino's birthday! Anyone who is on good terms with Ino would have received an invitation to attend a birthday party for her on the Iskaulit. I assure you, it was mostly Hiro's doing. Or anyone else involved with the party planning. ]

[Sure enough going to the appointed time and place will indeed lead you to a birthday party! There's a giant banner saying so and everything. Not only that but there's delicious food thanks to Belthazar, music, and other assorted party things.]

[In other words? ITS A MINGLE. Feel free to stop by, socialize, not socialize and hang awkwardly in a corner, gate crash, mooch food or anything else you can think of! ]

The food is great, by the way. But it's yours, so that's normal.

I tried to make things that might seem familiar to her, and vegetarian options for everyone else. The pudding was specifically requested as it is Ino's favorite.

That's a nice touch. It's important to do that, make sure it's something they'd enjoy. You'd make one hay of a party caterer. WOW HEY, THAT'S A GOOD IDEA!! You should cater for my parties!!

... You... think so? I have never cooked on that scale before. No one has ever asked.

[Cheese nods. Extremely enthusiastically. ]

Are you kidding? You'd be the BEST! I mean, look at what you put together here. And you can only get better!

[He wants to say no just because he's contrary, but he rather likes Cheese despite... his... quirks, and he doesn't want to make a scene at Ino's party.]

I... well... okay, but if I do not like it, I reserve the right to quit.

[ Cheese sits on his haunches and makes a crossing motion over his chest with a forehoof. ]

[He is silent for a moment as he finishes off his food... and then he decides to sit down nearby.]

Why do you throw parties?

[He's become aware that just saying that ins't enough. Other worlds aren't as clear cut on these things as Equestria is. ]

Where I come from, when a pony discovers their place in the world, they get their cutie mark, and they just know that's what they're supposed to do. For me, it's making everypony else happy, by throwing them the best parties I can.

I thought I had my destiny all figured out... but it isn't as simple as I thought.

YEP! They just appear, as soon as you learn what you're meant to do.

I guess we Equestrians are lucky? I can't imagine being unsure about stuff like that. So many folks from other worlds just have no idea what they're supposed to do.
