[So it's Ino's birthday! Anyone who is on good terms with Ino would have received an invitation to attend a birthday party for her on the Iskaulit. I assure you, it was mostly Hiro's doing. Or anyone else involved with the party planning. ]

[Sure enough going to the appointed time and place will indeed lead you to a birthday party! There's a giant banner saying so and everything. Not only that but there's delicious food thanks to Belthazar, music, and other assorted party things.]

[In other words? ITS A MINGLE. Feel free to stop by, socialize, not socialize and hang awkwardly in a corner, gate crash, mooch food or anything else you can think of! ]

[Cheese can, quite literally, sense when there's a party in the works, and feels it's his obligation as a Party Pony to lend a helping hoof. So, he'll be continuing to put up balloons and throw confetti about from an invisible yet seemingly inextinguishable source.

He'll also be trotting about with a tray of little foodstuffs on his back, leading people off into mingling and enjoying themselves. And he really does seem to bring a strange sense of happiness with him. In his natural party habitat, he pretty much oozes it. ]

[Crowley is here because Ino is important to him. If asked, though, he'll say he's here for the food and drink. He can be found lounging against a wall, looking exceptionally cool while sipping at whatever alcoholic drink he's managed to procure for himself.

Has he even brought a gift? Who knows. ]

[Sup fellow wall lounger. He looks over at Crowley for a moment and pauses]

[Even though Allen helped out with the planning of the party? Parties really weren't his thing- far too many people and he never knew what he was supposed to do with them. Nor did it help that some recent events had really put him in sour spirits. And so after doing his duty of help set up, greeting guests, and making sure things are running smoothly? He's grabbing a large plate of food and can be found near a corner happily munching away.]

[ tadashi will just be drifting over not long after allen actually settles there, munching from a plate of his own. ]

It's... really nice. You know, for an abandoned ship.

[Since they're not in town, Clay's only wearing the visor instead of the cowboy hat, and he's even wearing a pirate's patch over his black eye, so the hammy accent probably doesn't fit here. But whatever, he felt like saying it. Maybe he's a cowboy pirate.]

[Belthazar is so tired. As he drifts by, he yawns hugely and shoves his palm up his face to wipe his eyes.

[Nightingale showed up because she generally likes Ino, but on the other hand... What the fuck does one even do at a party? So she's wallflowering and trying to look very content and not at all confused by the whole... all of this, really.]

[ It wasn't like she forgot about her birthday or anything, but she hadn't had anything planned. She thought she would probably spend a quiet day with Tadashi and/or some of her close friends, and that would be that. She definitely did not expect a big party, and so when she's brought to the Iskaulit to join the celebration she's just covering her mouth with one hand, looking somewhere between completely baffled and excited and possibly about to cry.

This is way better than last year. ]

[And there she is now. He smiles and gives a little nod as she comes in]

[Suddenly, from nowhere, THE PONY appears at her right in a metric ton of streamers, which now rain down on her. He's got his accordion from hammerspace, it's TIME. ]

[Beverly is here too, of course, Andes soon as she gets a chance, she's runs up to Ino and throws her arms around her.]

[Axel is perusing the snacks when he spies Ino, and he gives her a grin, waving a hand and approaching her.]

Hey, you. Glad I didn't sleep through this little shindig, you know? [He offers her one of the snacks he's found: little weenies wrapped in croissant dough on a toothpick.] I wish I'd been able to find some ice cream at the way station, that really would have made it, but I guess tiny weenies will do.

[Since Clay's not a close friend like several other people here, he waves at her when she comes in, but doesn't move to greet her until after most everyone else has done so. Once an opportunity opens up, however, he walks up with his hands behind his back and a big smile on his face.]

Hey hey, a little birdie told me it was your birthday!

[You can thank Belth for the food because there's a lot of it. A purple lace cake, luxurious and sparkly, with additional cake pops for guests. There are also purple macaroons, green and black tea (both conjured), and the star of the show: gourmet chocolate pudding. Everything appears to be dusted with edible glitter except the pudding, because that's weird. Non-cake things include dango, chicken teriyaki, vegetarian buns, and delicate vegetable pancakes. He sort of outdid himself here, but he ate a lot of these things on Azeroth and Exsilium and brought the knowledge with him.

More importantly though, he has a present. He's shy and waits his turn. His gift is in a nondescript flat black box with a violet ribbon. He shoves it at her and ducks his head.]

Happy birthday. I'm... glad you were born.

[Smooth. Anyway, there's an extremely glittery dress inside, in keeping with the theme of the night. It's been enchanted and altered by Belth's own hands to fit her seamlessly. Occasionally little fairy lights appear around the dress, hover for a few seconds, and vanish.]

[ and it's likely that tadashi has his arm around ino's waist, his hold casual but definitely a little fond. it's clear that he wasn't sure exactly what the party was going to look like, either, but he's grinning when they step in. ]

They really outdid themselves, huh.

[Bran wheels up to her, and offers out something closed in his fist. It's a simple necklace, handmade from a thin chain and a few spare robot parts.]

[Vahs will eventually come up to Ino when she not being completely swamped by guests to give her a birthday gift. A small collection of hair care and make up products. Knowing having extra stock of those essentials on the ship could be very helpful at times.

And he decided to go with the classic coupon book. Filled with homemade coupons such as: turn in for a free hug and more useful ones like get out of cleaning dishes.] Happy birthday captain!

[he's not gonna approach at the end of the train, but he's not at the beginning, either. he wants to show off so fucking bad but... but this is ino's day, so he waits and doesn't point at all the stuff he did for her.

[he opens his arms for a hug, though.]

[For someone his size, Joseph should not be this good at sneaking around. But there's plenty to distract Ino with so he's able to creep up behind her, draping her brand new scarf around her shoulders. Of course, he's grinning ear-to-ear and quite proud of his choice in gift.]

[Belth is reserved and doesn't like parties, but here he is anyway. Light of lights, he almost seems happy. If not tired as hell. Mostly he's just shoving food in his mouth like a squirrel while he watches everyone from the sidelines. He won't dance, doesn't offer to.

When he's full, he just kinda... dozes off in his seat. He made too much food and used a bit too much magic to make this happen. You'd think he would've learned from watching Adra do the same thing a couple years ago, but alas. Like father, like adopted son.]
