[So it's Ino's birthday! Anyone who is on good terms with Ino would have received an invitation to attend a birthday party for her on the Iskaulit. I assure you, it was mostly Hiro's doing. Or anyone else involved with the party planning. ]

[Sure enough going to the appointed time and place will indeed lead you to a birthday party! There's a giant banner saying so and everything. Not only that but there's delicious food thanks to Belthazar, music, and other assorted party things.]

[In other words? ITS A MINGLE. Feel free to stop by, socialize, not socialize and hang awkwardly in a corner, gate crash, mooch food or anything else you can think of! ]

Well, that's a lesson learned for me, isn't it? If I want to avoid horrific embarrassment: bring appetisers.

[Cause he loves Ino and wants to make her happy but damn does he hate these party things and there's a passive aggressive party pony patrolling it on top of it. God Hiro why did you have to insist on a party, why.]

I'd say give it another hour or so, make sure she sees you a lot. If you like, I can knock one of the desert trays over and give you an out. But you'll owe me for an unspecified thing in the future.

Besides, with the attack and this party, it's not like I've been on any dates lately. [Meeting up with Clay impromptu, but shhh that doesn't count. ]

She asked to hear about the dates. We haven't been on any lately. We were going to have one where we watched bad movies, but nebula fried my television. So there's nothing to really tell her!

She'll ask [in a perfect imitation of Ino's voice] what did you do instead of watching movies, Allen?
