[Nami got served a warning about Meg by Sam the well-meaning-- which means absolutely nothing if she's already half dozing in a warm, steamy spring by the time Meg steps in. Her arrival only gets a sleepy half greeting because honestly, this place is the most relaxing for recovering from malicious augment glitches. Who cares who you are.]

[angelherding]

[one day someone is going to tell Meg how Sam has gone around being well-meaning and laugh, because it's far more amusing to watch them get all worked up than to actually do something to earn it.

Meg hums a greeting in return and undresses, then slips in not too soon after. Even demons enjoy this sort of thing and she is not about to hide how utterly happy being able to relax in a hot spring makes her]

These are amazing. [share in her joy, Nami]

[namisan]

Right? [She might snag a clue in a while, but right now Nami is way too content. She tips her head back onto the rocks behind her and gives a small sigh.]

I want these on the ship, honestly. It's a crime we don't have decent bathtubs.

[angelherding]

Ugh, don't remind me. What I wouldn't give for a decent bath.

[she sinks down a little and sighs. Why can't they have one of these on the ships? It's worst than just a crime]

[namisan]

Maybe we can get some magical types to make one on the Iskaulit. That'd be kinda fun.

[She lazy waves.] Nami, by the way.

[angelherding]

That's not a bad idea. I'm sure they'd love to use their magic for good.

[she returns the lazy wave with one of her own] Meg.

Please don't mind Nami bolting upright far too quickly and losing her balance, sliding under the water with a squawk.]

[GASP.

It's very hard to look threatening or affronted at all when you resurface hacking and spluttering like a wet chihuahua, but whatever.]

Did you have to wait until I was naked?

[angelherding]

[well that's. A reaction.

The single greatest reaction she's ever received. She looks tickled]

Had I known you would have reacted like that? [a considering pause, and then a huge grin] Yes. Yes I did.

[OKAY WELL this is the best place ever to be meeting possibly possessing demons, oh my god Meg stop grinning like that it's totally not funny--

(okay it's a little funny)]

Well, if naked flailing girls are your thing-- [Wow that sounded wrong. She breaks off, then shuffles back up against the edge and tries not to look like she's putting space between them.] I guess it's too late to pretend I have no idea who you are.

[angelherding]

[Nami wins the award for greatest first impression ever. She will never let you live this down and she isn't sorry in the least]

Well, part of that is right. [Meg no, Meg stop] And just a little. Which one was it? The moose or the squirrel?

[namisan]

[Actually no, don't bother explaining. She can work it out herself in another couple moments. It helps that Sam is such a giant weirdo.]

The moose-- Sam. I'm assuming you mean Sam. [Oh my god why is he called a moose.] What, don't they grow that tall usually or something?

[angelherding]

[Sam IS a giant weirdo, she's proud you figured it out all on your own]

I'm going to take a guess and say you've never heard of Rocky and Bullwinkle. Old cartoon, before you ask. [which is just sad in her opinion] And it isn't common, but it isn't strange, either. I've seen taller.

So, what'd he say about me?

[namisan]

[Nope. But it's now on her list of things to poke Sam about, which I'm sure he'll appreciate. The question does sober her up some, and she crosses her arms over her knees, eyeing Meg with a measuring look.]

That technically you're an ally. [Which is by far not all he said, but that's what it boiled down to. Oh, and--] You were a loyalist to Lucifer, but he's not in the picture anymore.

[Not in Sam's world, anyway. Is she ever gonna mention Lucifer was kicking around in Adstring? Nope.]

[angelherding]

[Meg settles back against the side of the hot spring herself, completely relaxed. If that's the way Sam was putting it, then she had nothing to worry about]

That sounds about right. [despite the lilt in her voice, there's no sarcasm in her tone] I promised I'd behave, and that's what I plan to do, being a girl of my world and all.

[namisan]

[That's kind of a reassuring reaction, and Nami settles back herself. Mainly she doesn't think it'll do her any favours to go stomping out stark naked at this point, but she's also curious.]

You guys have got a pretty big history, huh.

[angelherding]

[Meg would not have any problems with Nami stomping around naked, just sayin']

That's one way to look at it. I've tried to kill him, he's tried to kill me, we've tried to kill together - we've bonded in all manner of different ways.

[namisan]

[No free shows, god.]

Think you'll ever try killing him again?

[angelherding]

Mm, no, probably not. [she has no reason to. Even if Lucifer showed up, well. She did try to help close the gates of Hell, in a snse, so she's probably on his shit list.

What a disappointing thought] Besides, after a while they both sort of grow on you. Like . . . hmm, a couple of goofy-looking fungii.

[Don't think she won't charge you for that--!!

...from a safe distance. She's quiet a second-- well, Meg has absolutely no call to be honest, but it rings right in the light of what Sam had to say. She sinks down a little further into the water.]

What, even Dean? [Can't help it. She hasn't exactly had the best impressions of him, though this current version has good reason for it at least.]

[angelherding]

Even Dean - the one here is a little different, but he's still Sam's brother. [and everything she said she'd do extends to him, whether or not Dean decides to try and kill her. That's just how she is]

Though, I wouldn't be surprised if he'd try to stab me in a back. [a shrug, like it isn't a big deal]

[namisan]

The way I hear it, Dean's got a right to be mad at you. But I guess he hasn't attempted murder yet. Maybe you're in luck.

[She told Sam she'd back Dean, to be honest, but let's not go that far into the details she knows. Meg doesn't exactly strike her as evil incarnate-- or well, maybe she is, but saying he's still Sam's brother tells her Sam made the right call.

So.]

Sam and I are friends. We have been for a while now-- we keep turning up in places like this together, I guess.

[angelherding]

As if either of them need a real excuse. [there's at least some humor in her drawl] But I know he does. Sam made sure to tell me. And he hasn't tried yet, but he will. He's still Dean, and he's still an idiot.

[if Nami doesn't think she's evil incarnate, Meg's definitely lost her touch. She isn't sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but if it means that people aren't trying to kill her left and right - she's willing to suffer a little]

Oh, so you've done the kidnapping thing before?

[namisan]

[To be fair, Nami's version of 'evil incarnate' tends to sit on the genocide level. Or the 'you picked on my friend' level, which should count, but it's hard when the friend in question is also vouching for you. Go figure.]

Too many times. But in the whole "mysterious overlords of a new world" kind of way? Yeah. It gets old real fast.
